The farmers who are not destroying their crops are the small scale, locally supported, CSA, Value Added, Slow Food, Agile businesses.
I would wager that this is the sort of business that is going to be succeeding in this upcoming economy.
These people are killing cows, dumping milk and eggs, and tilling plants into fields on a massive scale because the supply chains are not flexible enough to re-route these goods.
Every farm is going to be getting a cut to help them stay afloat, but the cut is going to be one size fits all.
That means all of the smaller farms are going to be not only experiencing a competitive advantage, due to their agility and localized resilience, but also that all of the larger 'too big to fail' // monsanto // monocropped // industrial farmed projects are going to be experiencing massive cuts in profits.
Their entire industry is going to be destabilized for the next two years, and all of that capital that was focused on tractor, assemble line, pesticides from airplanes [do they do that?].
etc.
Those are not going to be viable for 2 years.
And when the vaccine comes back, what you're going to see is that industries and recreational type things have changed.

Tangent, about wealth and high end services.
This is a rock climbing gym near my house. I am not a member.
https://www.cruxrock.com/covid-19/
That link above describes a dramatic decreasing in size and functionality. The number of people that each establishment will be able to serve at one time will be decreasing dramatically, and made by appointment, exclusive membership, and limited offerings.
The same is mentioned in the video above, concerning fine dining, space for tables, grocery stores, offices etc.
The premium on space utilization in order to remain safe is going to drive up prices for those who can afford to exist within those spaces.
PPP loans have been secured, but they have also been abused, and were not sufficiently distributed.
What we are seeing here is a grossly incompetent US Government, an overwhelming national debt, and a dramatic change in the fundamental way that economics will be viable for small businesses.
When the money runs out from the government -- assuming the government drags its heels about distributing out UBI -- we are going to see an increase in high end MEMBERS ONLY services.
- Digital Members Only for the Mensch, and the Citadel
- Physical Members Only For the Upper Crust, and the Illuminati
.:.
Take a moment and let that percolate while we think about how that translates to food services:
- High End - Under the Table - Gourmet Weed Desserts.
You just got speakeasy'd!
- Exclusive Social Distanced Night Clubs -- Featuring ONLY the VIP table, with a single High end pole dancer.
[Take a look at all of those empty seats. and imagine what it's going to be like for those clubs.]
{Source.}
The working man // UBI man, is going to be patronizing e-girls. The high end performers, will still want whatever they were getting at the strip clubs, so we move onto a new middle tier of High End, Exclusive performance, right below straight up escort services.
Prostitution will also increase.
In the midst of this sea of sexuality for sale -- who do you think is going to beat out the competition?

Deconstruct this view of our upcoming economic struggles, and apply it to your own field.
How do you differentiate as a product / personality / experience / service in a market glut of ham-fisted operators?
.:.
- The Fanciest Dining opportunities -- You know those movies where they buy out the restaurant to impress someone, Like that, except the bill is split between 3-5 tables instead of 1, or a full house.
Pop-Up, High End, Members Only Restaurants / Bars / Night Clubs / Cafes / Performances are going to be the new trickle down locations.

Now is an excellent time to be a bootstrapper -- meaning a self-employed, self-directed, project-oriented, small-scale, agile, entity.
- Not a freelancer.
- Not an entrepreneur.
- Not a gig worker.
- Not an employee.
The Bootstrapper is a project cycle driven entity, that seeks to connect value to a specific group of people via their creativity / resourcefulness / insight / knowledge, labor / work.
- You can turn that into a company [entrepreneur]
- You can make a co-op [collective / DAO]
- You can get hired based on your skills [Freelance / Gig / Employee]
Or, you can just continue to be your own show.
The term Bootstrapper is straight up ripped off from Seth Godin's Bootstrapper Workshop.
This Daily Blog is Free, and I subscribe to it.

I see a lot of opportunities here on HIVE for people to create small businesses that are centered around this platform, and serve multiple populations, participating within different economies.
We don't need new users, we need current users to opt-in, to a deeper way of using the platform.
We don't need blogs, we need projects, because blogs are small and self-contained, and projects expand outward breaking into audience pools outside of HIVE and drawing monetization from outside of HIVE.
The solution to the problems of circle jerk voting, and limited rewards pool competition is not more focused curation on underrepresented newbies.
Monetization based on HIVE alone is not sufficient -- newbies need to see HIVE people monetizing their work in Fiat and USD, and using HIVE as:
- Home Base
- Backstage Audience Engagement Platform
- Co-Op / Workers Collective
- Investment / accumulation platform
In addition to how HIVE is commonly used now -- which is a blogging platform where you can get a couple of bucks for your posts.

#bootstrapper is an updated whenever blog series.
I'll give detailed business plan ideas to specific people and share the processes behind my own work.
I'd like to see people deconstructing the ideas shared in these posts, if they find something useful, and apply it in a project experiment.
I'd like to see those people make blog posts with the #bootstrapper hashtag. detailing the results of their experiments.
If I'm able to facilitate a reward I'll do so, but most likely this is going to be just me finding people that are already being serious about their work, and designing public, specific challenges for them -- or just being open about how I'm doing my own work.
This is a good format / outlet.
