El Power Up Day se realiza el primero de cada mes, y tiene como finalidad aumentar tu Hive Power (HP), el HP es lo que le da poder a tu voto, esto quiere decir que al momento de hacer las curaciones tus recompensas serán mejores, ademas de que tu influencia en la plataforma también se vera favorecida.
Este es un proyecto iniciado por @streetstyle y la primera vez que se hizo fue el 1ero de mayo de 2019, en la comunidad hispana esta iniciativa la llevó a cabo @victoriabsb y todos los meses son mas las personas que quieren participar en esta iniciativa.
Es así que este 1 de julio me uno a esta iniciativa para hacer mi primer Power Up, estuve buscando información del tema y se me hizo un poco complicado entender por completo como era este proceso del todo. Gracias a la paciencia y a la ayuda de mi amigo @cibersk8 que me ayudo a entender mejor como realizar el power up ya que él esta mas familiarizado en Hive contando con algunos meses de experiencia.

The Power Up Day takes place on the first of each month, and aims to increase your Hive Power (HP), for HP is what gives power to your vote, this means that at the time of healing your rewards will be better, plus your influence on the platform will also be favored.
This is a project started by @streetstyle and the first time it was done was the 1st of May 2019, in the Hispanic community this initiative was carried out by @victoriabsb and every month there are more people who want to participate in this initiative.
So this July 1st I join this initiative to make my first Power Up, I was looking for information on the subject and it was a little complicated for me to fully understand how this process was at all. Thanks to the patience and help of my friend @cibersk8 who helped me to understand better how to make the power up since he is more familiar with Hive having some months of experience.
Para iniciar hacer Power Up debemos tener Hive Tokens (HIVE) en nuestra wallet Hive,es desde allí que pasaremos nuestros tokens hive a HP, en mi caso yo no contaba con con HIVES en mi wallet así que debí comprarlos en el market con mis HBD.
To start doing Power Up we must have Hive Tokens (HIVE) in our Hive wallet, it is from there that we will pass our hive tokens to HP, in my case I did not have HIVE in my wallet so I had to buy them in the market with my HBD.
Inicie hacer mi proceso de power up en Peakd, como lo pueden ver en la imagen de arriba, también lo pueden hacer desde Hiveblog es lo mismo.
I started my power up process in Peakd, as you can see in the image above, you can also do it from Hiveblog is the same.
Presionaremos la flecha al lado del botón send y se abrirá abajo una pequeña ventana y seleccionaremos la opcion de Power UP .
Press the arrow next to the send button and a small window will open and select the Power UP option.
Nos saldrá esta ventana, y pasaremos a colocar la cantidad de Hive que queremos pasar a HP.
This window will appear, and we will place the amount of Hive that we want to pass to HP.
En mi caso yo coloque 2 Hive ya que estoy empezando, tengo con 3 semana que me uní a la comunidad Hive, luego de colocar su cantidad de Hive le dan click en el botón continuar.
In my case I placed 2 Hive since I am starting, I have 3 weeks since I joined the Hive community, after placing your amount of Hive click on the continue button.
En esta ventana confirmaran que desean hacer la transacción, seleccionan en continuar.
Seguidamente nos mostrara otra venta donde colocaremos nuestra clave maestra de Hive culminando así con el proceso.
In this window you will confirm that you wish to make the transaction, select continue.
Next it will show us another sale where we will place our Hive master key, thus culminating the process.
