I have addressed multiple DePIN applications over the past year or two. The majority of these have been browser extensions related to bandwidth and AI projects. Downloading many of these extensions opens one to a new and exciting realm of passive income. However, many of my readers are limited to mobile devices, and as a result, were disappointed, as many desktop applications are not available in mobile format.
Applications such as Nodepay and Grass are available for Desktop and mobile devices. However, in most cases, mobile users are missing out. I wrote an article several months ago addressing mobile DePIN applications. In my opinion, DeNet holds the most promise. The initial round of the Silencio airdrop was pretty huge for top wallets. Silencio is a Peaq-based project that addresses noise pollution. Users are rewarded in SLC tokens.
I expect the DeNet token (Peaq-based) to perform exceptionally well at the TGE. Silencio’s market cap is below $2 million at the current valuation. DeNet is a decentralized storage protocol that utilizes mobile devices and purchased nodes within its ecosystem, and is expected to launch with a significant market cap. High-ranking wallets should secure a sizeable airdrop when the DeNet token hits the market.
Yes, Silencio and DeNet are mobile applications. However, many alternative projects are being overlooked by mobile users due to inaccessibility. Where there’s a will, there’s a way, and that’s where the Yandex browser comes into play. Yandex enables users to download Google Chrome browser extensions on mobile devices. This is not limited to the DePIN space, but also includes additional browser extensions.
Mobile Expansion
I still need to experiment with Yandex, as in some instances, earnings can be increased by adding additional mobile devices. In the case of a project like Grass, earnings are determined by the unique IP count and not the device count. In other words, you would require a different wifi connection for each device to boost earnings. That being said, the current 3X boost on the Grass mobile app will enhance your earnings regardless, as it will increase the wifi connection being used.
Yandex has been around for a while, with many users taking advantage of the Yandex email service. Of course, functionality and user experience are critical. This is what I still have to discover. There is another mobile WEB3 browser alternative, Mises. However, there appears to be considerable negative feedback regarding the project and the team.
I might address Mises again at a later stage, once I have implemented it, and can comment on its efficiency and user experience. However, I would stick with Yandex to be on the safe side. I thought I would bring this up now, as DePIN is likely to intensify in the coming months. Regardless of future price action in the Crypto market, projects will still be predominantly operating with the traditional 4-year cycle in mind. This means a flood of TGEs and airdrops in the coming months.
Always research a project yourself, especially a project like Yandex that will facilitate multiple applications. An idea is to have a separate Google account and device for DePIN and other WEB3 applications. Risk management should always play a part in every aspect of life, not just investment practices.

I never really needed a service like Yandex, so I haven’t looked for solutions. However, many do, so I decided to conduct a little research. Please do likewise if you choose to use Yandex or similar services. Provided the user experience is up to par, Yandex could enhance the lives of many mobile WEB3 users.
