The first few days of July has two neighbouring countries celebrating their birthdays. That would be Canada Day on July 1st and July 4th aka Independence Day in the United States.
When I had ChatGPT generate the prompts for the month, I advised it the month was July and asked for appropriate prompts.
The word prompt for July 1 was ‘freedom’ and for July 4 was ‘independence’.
I did some playing around on both days to get the images I used that day. Thought I’d share them with you today as I usually publish on my Facebook page and Instagram. One image for each day ends up as an NFT in the @nftshowroom. That image doesn’t appear any where else.
July 1st Images
Had an interesting time getting my images on Canada Day. At first using ‘freedom’ alone gave the images a decidedly American tone to them. I added ‘Canada’ to the prompt.
The images got a bit closer although one of them decided to do a mashup of the Canadian and American flag. Sorry guys, we’ll do our own birthdays separately. We’re friends but not bedmates.
Then I had this one show up:
I thought it was interesting but really wanted to see a bit more. So, I used the chained prompt idea I’ve talked about in a previous post. I used the link to the image above and added ‘party time’ to the prompt. I then used two of the resulting panel of images.
This one went to Instagram
This one became the NFT of the day on the @nftshowroom
I really liked the typical Canadian backdrop and the maple leaves attached to the woman’s portrait.
July 4th Images
I did some playing around today with 'independence' to get some looks I liked. I’ve been trying to stick to posting one image a day on Instagram but I kind of liked the results so I used three today. They're my rules to make up.
If someone had twisted my arm and told me one image only, The one above would have been my choice. I liked the nice clean look that still portrays the message of the day.
This one caught my eye in a guard the borders sort of way.
This one was just plain cute.
The image I used for todays NFT didn’t scream July 4th but it could be a representation of Independence.
I use an AI app to get a description of images. This is what it had to say about this one:

I had to chuckled how it picked up swirls and foliage as ‘peacock feathers’. The idea of it being a peacock is seeing it as rather stylized at best. It’s fun looking at their interpretations.
AH yes, interpretations.
The Rando Factor
These two images are especially used for @bluefinstudios.

OH … the header image. It came from ‘independent’ with a —weird factor added. Guess waves are pretty independent.
