Those of you who used computers in the early 1990's or early 2000's will be familiar with Internet Explorer.
Whether visiting a website or accessing social media platforms, Internet Explorer was the only browser that could access the desired site with a single click.
But now this oldest and most popular browser in the world of Internet will become just a memory because Internet Explorer has been shutting down forever since Wednesday.
Microsoft launched Internet Explorer in 1995 and initially it was added to Windows Ninety Five as an additional feature.
Last year, Microsoft announced that it was launching Internet Explorer on June 15, 2022. "Now is the time to move on," he said.
Microsoft has warned its users several times in the past few years about the flaws in Internet Explorer and suggested using their new browser, Microsoft Edge, earlier this year.
Sean Lindersay, general manager of Microsoft Edge Enterprise, wrote in a blog post last year that "Microsoft Edge is a faster, more secure and modern browsing experience than Internet Explorer."
Internet Explorer dominated the Internet for a while, but in 2004 the Mozilla Foundation introduced Firefox, which reduced the browser's popularity.
In 2008, Google launched Google Chrome, which provided the fastest browsing services and the use of Google Chrome increased exponentially.
After the popularity of Google Chrome, Internet Explorer went into obscurity and then Microsoft introduced a new browser Microsoft Edge to make its place in the world of internet again but this attempt also failed.
