(Source) I loved reading Enid Blyton books when I was a kid, I was entranced with the little animal and fairy houses. This one is from Brambly Hedge. I also liked The Borrowers and Toad of Toad Hall for the same reasons.

Over on the @spinvest account, silverstackeruk wrote about having accountability buddies - some one or several some ones you team up with to support each other to reach your goals.
This is a great idea. There's a supportive group each week on the Saturday Savers Club post to egg you on to reach your savings goals. It's a good way to network and build new friends and followers. There's also a Saturday Savers channel on Discord where you can meet up with other savers and share ideas, or form your own little group of super-savers.
It keeps me going, even when I've had a tough week with lots of distractions!
I also became an InLeo Lion this week, just tipping over the 15,000LP threshold. LEO has been good to me: I benefitted from airdrop which matched my HP (SP, as it was at the time), I've bought and sold LEO to resource other things and then gradually re-built my stash. With the new announcements about Evergreen Rewards, I decided to invest a little more and get to Lion.
It will be a little while before I can take advantage of that, but I've also plenty to learn about threading and the like, so that will all work well and there's plenty of time to get there.

- EDSD - I'm aiming to hold 1,330 0f these as short-term savings to build my EDS and passive HIVE income. I bought 1,095 to start and then I use my rewards for looking after the @eddie-earner account to buy 5 EDSD each week, taking advantage of the recurring payments option on PeakD. Blogging - I'm still living in one room and it's been a busy week at work, I don't think I even looked at Hive some days. No worries, everything is going okay.
Saturday Savers Club - 2024 Launch and FAQs. Over thirty-five savers already! Anyone can join at any time by commenting with their goals on the weekly post on the @eddie-earner account (also follow @eddie-earner for news about EDS).
HSBI - HIVE basic income - I haven't checked which savers put up an HPUD post this week, but I'm expecting a jump in my HSBI tomorrow!
What's New
Hive-wise, there's not been much going on this week. But I've enjoyed the beautiful weather here, brilliant sunshine and not too cold, and going out for a walk everyday, even though work has been a little overwrought. I had to have the car repaired and the garage was kind enough to phone and check whether I was picking it up today before they closed. That's service, isn't it?
Oh yes, a cherry-picker is coming next Saturday as two trees are going to be cut down. I called round to see all my neighbours to let them know the drive would be blocked and spent the whole evening chatting and catching up. We're all excited about the tree-cutting!
