Bitcoin Whitepaper Day

Yesterday was the 15th anniversary of the release of the Bitcoin Whitepaper, the essay believed to be written by the person or persons known only as Satoshi Nakamoto.

This famous paper explains the reason Bitcoin was created and details all the good things it was meant to achieve.

I wrote an essay about Hive on that day, to celebrate Hive as the next step forward in achieving the goal of Satoshi Nakamoto.
As I said in my post yesterday. This post is not meant to say Hive is better then Bitcoin. This post is about Hive standing on the shoulders of Bitcoin and reaching up to touch the stars. The stars being the goals of Bitcoin which are not yet achieved by Bitcoin.
If you think about the history of cryptocurrency and you look at the changes and additions each project brought to the cryptocurrency community, starting with all the monumental technological achievements of Bitcoin.
And then the second cryptocurrency Litecoin added technological improvements like increase block size, and then cryptocurrency number three Ethereum added other technological improvements like smart contracts and shorter block times.
The predecessor to Hive, Bit-shares added many of the current characteristics of Hive.
And Hive added Resource Credits and other technological innovations.
All of these projects are standing on the shoulders of Bitcoin,trying to get to the ultimate goals written about by Satoshi Nakamoto, financial power to people and a non-inflationary currency to be a store of value.
