Welcome to the 19th update from @spinvest-leo.
This week was the first without a transfer of LEO tokens from the main @spinvest account. Coincidentally, this week also saw a significant further drop in the LEO token price. This made me quite nervous early in the week, and I had fears for the first time that the account wouldn't make enough to cover the SPI payouts. I even sold a few CTP tokens at one stage to help. Turns out I shouldn't have worried, and the changes rolled out a few weeks ago helped us over the line and into another solid profit week, despite the drop in LEO.
Strong earnings.
The @leo.stats weekly report came out a few hours ago, and show that we have stabilised in the top 10 LEO earners each week, coming in 8th place. The leaderboard has a mix of official accounts and the founder @khaleelkazi, big investors like @dlike on top, and "Spinvest's own" @taskmaster4450 took out second place this week - well done mate.
Boosted Alt-tribe resources.
While Mr Spinny isn't sending LEO anymore, he has sent over 2200 UFM and another 630 CTP tokens this week, which gives us a nice stake to play with. Expect to see an increase in income from those two tribes in the coming weeks.
JAHMPOW!!
I announced late last week that I had added a personal delegation of 10K JAHM (temporarily) to build a JAHM income into this account. Well, I can tell you that the first curation payout came in less than 48 hours ago, and since then we have already built up 150 JAHM owned stake. Doesn't sound like much? That is worth 8 STEEM, in less than 2 days. JAHM is going to become a huge contributor to this accounts earnings, very quickly. If you don't know about Reggaesteem tribe and the JAHM token, I strongly suggest you do some research. Not financial advice, just my opinion. I can say for sure that JAHM will grow to be a significant contributor to @spinvest-leo.
The numbers:
I have redesigned the income table a bit.
For the first part:
- The first column shows last weeks token amount plus any transfers from Spinvest combined.
- Column 2 is how much we brought in for the week.
- Column 3 is what we have sold - to buy SPI rewards for delegators.
- Column 4 is NET income.
- 5 is the ending balance and 6 is the change over the week.
The second part shows the same info - with the "tokens sold" column excluded and the conversion to STEEM value column instead.
I think this new layout is clearer, and gives a better picture of what has happened over the week.
So here it is:
Highlights:
- Earned 766 LEO this week - a new record. :-)
- Had to sell 510, plus 40 CTP to buy SPI - also a record. :-(
- Big jump in CTP offset most of the value drop on LEO
- 8 STEEM value income from JAHM - in only 2 days!
- If LEO stayed at 0.16 (last weeks price) Things would have looked very different. I think it will come back as once a couple of large holders complete their sell offs.
And the delegator payouts:
If you have not heard of @spinvest-leo before, what we do is accept delegations of LEO power, and pay a weekly passive return with SPI (spinvest) tokens. The return is calculated on 1 SPI per 900 LEO delegated per week. Any amount over 9 LEO can be delegated, for a weekly payout. The main @spinvest account transfers it's LEO earnings to us for now to assist the growth of this account. The asset base we are building here from surplus earnings above the mining payouts are added to the Spinvest asset base, increasing the value of the tokens you earn.
Thanks to everyone supporting this program, especially the delegators. Don't forget, when making a delegation, please DO NOT put the @ sign in, it leads to an outbreak of Leprosy. (or at least the delegation doesn't work). ;-)
