Hindsight is everything, its easy to say "I should have sold back then" when you realize you missed the top
When you look at the 20 year price chart of silver, you can see that it never really broke its ATH
But it got close
There is no rule that silver must go up
It can easily tread lower for the next 10 years regardless of what either of us believe it should be doing
I mentioned not too long ago that it might be time to cash out gold and silver and get into your favourite crypto
since then the metals are down around 10% while crypto, ETH for example is up well over 30%
timing the market is hard to do
but you know what else is hard to do? just looking at your metals sit there losing fiat value in the short term and not working for you
it makes me think about stocks I could have bought that have not only gone up significantly but paid a 4-7% dividend along the way
when you have thoughts like this sometimes its best to just ignore the urge to make the move because something big is around the corner
but majority of the time there is nothing around the corner but missed opportunities.
the gains are there for those who are willing to make the right move
with that in mind while I do think sell metals now for crypto is the right move financially, I am personally going to hold onto my metals
