Hey Hivians!
I am often asked where to start in order to start earning in crypto. This is a real life question, and it always confuses me. To form my own answer, I'll try to answer it now to myself from the experience of two years. Where would I start? Where would I be looking right now? What would I expect from it?
There will be no clear instructions, only thoughts and direction of attention. Let's go!
What do you know about crypto?
To begin with, one should have clarified what one knows about crypto at all. Most people I know from the real world know almost nothing except Bitcoin, trading, NFT, gaming and sneakers (move2earn) as of late. While that is enough sometimes (knowing one Alien Worlds button was enough for me), one should still start with blockchain technology and decentralization. Understanding exactly that involved me instantly, after which I began to search indiscriminately for any information and self-study every day. Fortunately, there is a lot of information in Web 2.0 now, so I would recommend YouTube - choose an interesting storyteller.
What do you like about real life?
This is the most important thing, not only in crypto, but in life in general. What do you like to produce offline? Whether it's handmade items or playing sports, cooking, photography, programming or private business. Contemplating a blank wall or lying on the couch with your eyes closed won't do the trick. Unless you can tell it so interesting that people follow you in droves. Then you're a great blogger-philosopher-influencer. Otherwise, you haven't found yourself in life yet. Finding something in crypto will be even harder.
What kind of money do you see?
We all have different starting banks. Some don't have any at all or don't want to risk any amount. And some already have $100K and want to make a million. The approach to entry will be completely different. The psychology of these two groups will be completely different.
I started with a complete zero. More precisely with 1.5 WAX, which my brother sent me. They were sent to him in turn by our countryman. We paid it back in a couple of weeks. Now I'm ready to throw in $10,000, which I don't have yet. And looking back, I realize that the psychology has changed quite a bit.
How much time and for what?
It's important to understand how much time you have and what you're willing to spend it on. Yes, I'll say it again, time is the most valuable resource. If you're 20, and you're ready to try everything. Then at 40, you know specifically that tomorrow is old age, and you definitely have less to try than you did at 20.
You also definitely know that some activities just aren't right for you, or you don't like them. You don't like them so much that you soon lose interest or burn out. No matter how much money it promises. Hopes crash against the wall of the bear market faster than the wings of a hummingbird.
It's going to be tough, but that's the future
I think there may be more questions than I wrote, but these three will have to work with. Some will take five minutes and some will need a couple of weeks to figure it out. But it's important to understand it. Otherwise, you're just giving your life or money to other people without realizing it. Or not understanding why you did it.
From there you can self-study on your own or choose any courses you want. It depends on your preferences. I studied on my own and from general access videos, because I like to put together a puzzle of information and make up my own opinion. But learning will have to and will be difficult. This is not a school that you can skip and bring a handwritten note from your parents tomorrow. Without understanding some of the mechanisms, you can lose money and lost time at the snap of a finger.
Crypto is developing faster than the real world in recent years. Therefore, the knowledge of two or three months ago may no longer be relevant. You will have to learn constantly and a lot. But this is the future. It's already here. Cryptocurrency gradually replaces fiat, Web2.0 entertainment spheres and enters all spheres gradually but surely. That is, sooner or later everyone will have to enter crypto. We don't know how much time will pass. But this rocket is already at the start and soon engines will be working at full speed, and it will become very noisy. It will be very hard to hear to know where to run. Now would be a good time to jump into that rocket and start learning the buttons. Welcome! I'm already here.
That's all. Hive On!
