In earlier times, there were no much issue and putting your money in some generic bucket alwsys gets us a good return. Sectors like #defence #railways #oil were used to be common and gurantee a good return in the long run. Even now these sectors are active and doing well. However with the change of time, many new sectors have comes up which may prove to be profitable in coming years.

Many experts always advice for Long term investment. It is very popular modenof investment considering it allows the investor a good return.
