Is Leofinance about to get a big boost?
Only time will tell if we are going to see a major leap forward. The alpha release of the new user interface is happening within 24 hours. This is an exacting time in the evolution of Leofinance.
In August, LeoThreads was released. Since that time, there were a few updates that enhnaced performance. Now, we are seeing a new interface that was designed with LeoThreads as the focal point. This is a radical departure from the existing Leofinance website which concentrates on long form content.
The new UI is going to switch this up. The "home" page will have LeoThreads as the basis, with other content menued off there.
Will this make a difference? We will learn over the next few weeks.
Obviously, this is an alpha release. We were forewarned on last week's AMA that many of the feautres would not be available to start. There are certain sections that are going to be live, with feed back going to the team.
I guess, as each areas is "signed off" then more will be opened.

Microblogging On Hive
This is something that people who watch the numbers on Hive are excited about. There is no doubt that Twitter has a ton of activity. While expecting hundreds of millions of Threads per day is unrealistic, getting these numbers into the tens of thousands should not be a stretch.
We were toying around on the site today, using the #khal tag as a basis for our Threads. We were able to get it near the top of trending. Throughout the day, people were coming in and out, adding a couple of comments to aid in the cause.
In the end, we probably sent the Thread total up from previous days. At this moment, there are 381 Threads with the #khal tag. Add in comments and other replies, and we are dealing with over 400. That is 2,800 over the course of a week.
To constrast, all of Threads last week were like 5,400.
The idea of thousands of Threads each day is exciting. It is true engagement on chain and a great way to forge relationships.
Adding Veews
Throughout the day, I was also clicking through on Veews. This is an application that helps with content discovery.
As I came across some interesting content, I posted it to LeoThreads. This is something I probably did 5 times today. None of them were my articles but things I found to be good content. Some of them were related to cryptocurrency where others were related to travel.
That is the great thing, all content is acceptable.
Veews makes it easy to find different content. Sharing on LeoThreads makes it extremely easy and quick. This is what Hive needs to keep doing, making interaction between different applications simple and easy.
A handful of Veews added to Threads is not going to change the course of Hive. Yet once again, this is an example of how we can increase the numbers.
Hive Has A Lot Of Great Content
It is easy for us to fall victim to believing the content on Hive is all garbage. This is not the case. There are many applications that might not solicit long form content yet that does not mean it isn't of interest.
Sharing this with others is a way to help the content creators. Some of it might not have a major impact on the rewards the person is receiving. Every little bit, however, helps.
Hive is turning into a paradise for content creators. LeoThreads is another tool in people's arsenal. Of course, spamming the feed with articles isn't the sole purpose. That said, others posted stuff that ended up being upvoted with some weight.
Micro-Earning
This is a concept that I feel is going to be something to promote with LeoThreads.
Hive has the ability to offer micropayments. With the Hive-Engine tokens, there is small amounts of money that can be paid out. We can see this in our wallets as many rewards show up without a dust level.
People overlook the power of micro-earning. There was one on Twitter who commented about micro-earning means no earnings.
This is pure foolishness. My voting power was nuked being on LeoThreads today. There was a bit of HBD/HP issued along with a great deal of LEO. One person wasn't getting a huge payout on each upvote but the same person did receive a number of votes throughout the day.
Will someone retire off the LEO received on Threads today? Of course not. However, this is not something to ignore. People are spending hours on Twitter for basically nothing.
Whatever I made on LeoThreads today was more than the top one on Twitter (outside of Elon Musk who owns the entire platform).
So, within the next 24 hours, we will have the new user interface. Will this increase the usage amoung the community? I have no idea. It was promoted pretty heavily so we will see if the experience meets the expectations.
