Tesla came out with an announcement that they are looking into the possibility of getting invovled in the refining of Lithium. This is an industry presently dominated by China.
In this video I discuss how Tesla views this as a supply chain issue and is seeking to correct it. They are scouting locations with the Gulf Coast of Texas being discussed.
