CUB & PolyCub proposal | LPUD
For those of us who have been watching the inleo UI since May 2023 then you will have noticed things keep getting better and better.
The User Interface is pleasing on the eye, the team never sit on their laurels and continually are developing things which in turn enhance the ecosystem.
One such feature that users of Inleo threads loved was the polls function.
Well now there is even better news concerning the polls...
Stake-weighted POWER Polls
Say what now...? Okay okay we are not talking about the food.
Up until now, the polls we have been able to post are on a one to one basis.
In other words the 1 account = 1 vote protocol. Those of you that have been around the crypto block will know that voting is generally weight based depending on your stake size.
The next iteration of polls allows for stake-weighted voting.
At first, it uses LEO POWER. We're going to test this and improve the model, then we're going to allow HIVE POWER stake-weighted polls. After all of that goes smoothly, we'll allow other tokens on Hive to be used for stake-weighted polling. This is a truly amazing feature set and I'm excited to see it rolled out.
That is excellent news and shows how the team are continually evolving the ecosystem.
The Last and Final CUB / POLYCUB Proposal
The proposal is now live and anyone with LEO POWER can vote on the poll
linked here
to pass the proposal or deny the proposal.
The vote will be open until Sunday 17th March at Midnight EST.
So you have the rest of the week to consider this proposal and vote Yes or No for it.
Our proposal is to airdrop LEO tokens to anyone holding CUB or POLYCUB on a $1 for $1 basis.
To receive the airdrop, a CUB or POLYCUB holder must burn their CUB or POLYCUB holdings by sending it to the 0xDead address on-chain.
The 15th of the month is Leo Power Up Day
Yes lpud is today on the Hive blockchain.
Will this be the last LPUD before the LEO prices moon? #LPUD
The first lpud was on the 15th of June 2022 and so much has changed since then.
When people talk about a power up day on the Hive blockchain, then they mean when a community rally around their token by all powering up (or staking) said token. It can be $HIVE on the first of the month, $PIZZA on the 14th of the month or in this case $LEO on the 15th of the month.
As I look at the LPUD of March of 2024 that is just a few days earlier than the listing of LEO on a DEX and the creation of the Leo Cacao pool that is going to tremendously increase the demand on the Leo token. Even prior to the launch of the pool the demand for Leo is high as users are opting for staked Leo for their delegation of hive power (HP) to the @leo.voter account.
If you want to participate in the ongoing LEO Power Up Day you have until midnight and you also have two options to choose from:
LEO Power Up of at least 50 LEO
LEO Power Up of at least 150 LEO.
