This month's #HivePUD is my first ever, and I only heard about it at the last minute. So I'm sure I didn't do enough to really qualify for anything... but I am trying to respect the principles of the day's effort.

This was actually my first month of any real activity on the social side of the #Hive ecosystem. I'd been playing Rising Star for a little while, then I found DCity, so I was set up. I knew the social and blogging aspect was there... and my love of writing and reading often makes me a natural fit in these environments. I'd checked out Peakd at one point and then Hive Blog, but nothing clicked until #LeoFinance jumped onto my radar.

So yeah... HivePUD!

Power-Up Day. And like I said from the outset, I didn't do much. I powered up a little less than 15 HIVE to bring my grand total up to 1050 HP! I would normally make more of an effort if I participate in something like this, but my focus is on #LeoPower right now-- only at around 150 LP as I write this. So I need to prioritize it.

But I did want to honestly participate in this Hive Power-Up Day phenomenon… so I am: I've powered up more than 10 HIVE and I don’t have an active power-down, I haven't traded any HIVE today, and now I’m posting about it and including the hashtag (see title).

Mission Accomplished.

Now I just need to finish wrapping my noodle around the basics, and start maximizing the HP and LP that I’ve been working so hard to pile up. More research, better settings, much more curation… just more of all the good stuff.

So wish me luck! And Happy February, I guess… may it bring us a #crypto run like we’ve never seen before-- like an epic pissing contest between the King and the entire Royal Court. That will help get our minds off the madness that is our world at the moment. Cheers: to silver linings.
