What's up investor friends?
The USD/JPY is in a long-term downtrend, following a resistance line visible on weekly candlesticks. The pair has been below this trend line since 2016, testing it on several occasions but unable to break it to the upside.
Last week the pair managed to break this trend line and has remained above it so far. It is currently performing a pullback.
Weekly candles
At the moment the bears are controlling the price in the short term, trying to bring the pair back below the trend line and support at 109.50.
4-hour candles
The bears are winning the battle at the moment. The bulls will need to recover above the downtrend line and resistance at 109.50 if they want to gain control and have a chance to change the trend of the pair in the medium to long term.
We must be patient and wait to see what direction the pair will actually take. At the moment we are at a turning point for the long term trend. It is necessary to wait for the price action and make our trades in favor of the trend.
Probably by the end of this week or next week, we will know the direction the price will take, so patience and staying on the sidelines is the best thing to do.

El USD/JPY viene en una tendencia bajista a largo plazo, siguiendo una linea de resistencia visible en velas semanales. El par se ha mantenido por debajo de esta linea de tendencia desde el a帽o 2016, testeandola en varias ocasiones pero sin poder romperla al alza.
La semana pasada el par logr贸 romper esta linea de tendencia y se ha mantenido por encima hasta ahora. En este momento se encuentra realizando un pullback.

Por el momento los osos se encuentran controlando el precio en el corto plazo, intentando devolver el par por debajo de la linea de tendencia y del soporte en 109.50.
Velas de 4 horas
Los osos est谩n ganando la batalla por el momento. Los toros necesitaran recuperarse por encima de la linea de tendencia bajista y de la resistencia en 109.50 si desean obtener el control y poder tener la posibilidad de cambiar la tendencia del par en el mediano y largo plazo.
Debemos ser pacientes y esperar que rumbo realmente tomar谩 el par. En este momento estamos en un punto decisivo para la tendencia a largo plazo. Es necesario esperar la acci贸n del precio y realizar nuestras operaciones en favor de la tendencia.
