Welcome back,
How AI Is Changing Our Lives
Artificial Intelligence has changed our life completely. While earlier a task used to take hours, today the same task can be done in a few minutes. And I am not talking about a particular genre, but almost every genre where this statement fits, be it work or development, be it finding errors, be it writing a story, be it getting ideas. You can get all of it within seconds, within minutes by using Artificial Intelligence.
Probably most of you reading here might have used ChatGPT and I think most of you reading this blog might also have made ChatGPT an important part of your life. But in this blog today, I am here to share something which you should take care about when you are using AI tools, because with power comes responsibility. And if you are not responsible in using these AI tools, you might end up harming yourself, not only mentally, but physically and in the health way as well.
The Power of AI Comes With Responsibility
So, as I told, with big power comes big responsibility, and if you are not responsible, you are going to harm yourself as well as others. Now, as AI has taken a leap in technology and we are seeing every other person using these tools, there comes responsibility. Now what is happening is, a person with no scientific knowledge, no medical knowledge, is using an AI tool and sharing what is good for your health.
I am not saying that AI cannot tell you what is good for your health, but there has to be a line drawn at this moment because we are still not there where AI is perfect in telling everything. And on top of that, AI is not a human. Sometimes you have to go through a physical interaction, physical interaction in the sense of talking verbally, expressing your feelings, and telling what you really feel to understand what is going on with you. AI is not there yet, and maybe in future we can reach there, but at this moment we are not there.
The Hype Around Magnesium and AI’s Role
A lot of AI videos recently were guiding people towards taking more of magnesium and it was obviously not done by AI all purposely. It is still something that reacts after humans interact with it. So obviously a human being first asked AI about magnesium and its benefits and that is when AI started giving the answer based on the tone of the question. That also matters. We have to understand that the tone of our question will also be an important factor for AI to reply to us. Sometimes the tone of the question might be very normal and the answer that AI gives us can be a basic answer. But sometimes the intensity of the question, the words we select, can give AI reasons to answer us in a different manner.
Is AI at Fault or Are We?
So I was going through a blog recently and I saw that a few reputed doctors have said that AI tools are becoming dangerous as they are asking people to take in more of magnesium. And according to doctors, the best way to take magnesium is in the natural way and one should not consume it from outsourced medicines unless and until prescribed by the doctors. But I am not totally agreeing with the doctors here because there is no fault of AI here.
There is no mistake of AI. The mistakes are in the hands of humans using it. When you are using such a powerful tool, you have to be responsible in using it. You just cannot use it for anything and share it, because sometimes AI might also give you wrong answers. You first have to be knowledgeable enough to challenge the answer of ChatGPT as well, challenge the answer of any AI tool. So I think there is no mistake of AI tools here but the people who are not using it responsibly.
Responsibility of the User and the Viewer
And then comes the person consuming that content, because they are also not responsible in consuming the accurate and right content. When they are hearing something which is related to their health, it is their responsibility to verify it with someone who is professional in that thing, maybe a doctor. Like if you are having fever, there can be a number of reasons behind that.
Will ChatGPT tell you all the reasons or will any other AI tool tell all the reasons? No, obviously not. Maybe they will tell you the most common reasons for your fever. But the actual reason for your fever might only be identified by the doctor itself. I am not saying that the AI tools will not be able to identify your health situation if you are going through a fever. Maybe they will be doing it for most of the cases. But still, there is a chance of error. It is a machine. It is not yet on a level where it will start thinking on its own. We are not really at that place right now.
A Personal Experience to Remember
Now I will share one of my personal experiences and then end this blog and meet you tomorrow. So, one of my friends recently took his father to the doctor, as there were some signs that the cancer might have returned. He was tested for cancer a few years back, though he was cured, but obviously, cancer can return. So he went to the doctor and got all the tests done that the doctor had asked for.
The reports were given to him online, and since it was late at night, he could not go to the doctor to verify or understand what the reports actually meant. So my friend simply uploaded the report to ChatGPT, and there he got the explanation of the entire report. ChatGPT explained everything to him clearly. But even after that, my friend went to the doctor the next day and got it verified. So that is how you should use it, in complex situations where you are verifying a report, a medical report, or any complex thing. It can be anything.
So that is all for this blog. I think I have made myself very clear. Just use AI tools wisely, do not get carried away, and I hope everyone stays healthy and fine.
Thank you and happy trading everyone.
