Man, I came into this year on fire. I had big plans, content lined up, mining expansion in the works, all kinds of ideas flowing. But now? It’s like my brain just hit a wall. Every time I sit down to write, I stare at the screen, and nothing comes out. And it’s not because I don’t have things to say, I just can’t seem to get them out the way I want or I just can't center on a post subject. The drone content has helped fill some holes, but I really want to get back to my blogging game.
Life Keeps Throwing Punches
Part of it is just life being life. Offline responsibilities have been piling up, and it’s been a lot to handle. Ever since my dad passed, there’s been this huge shift. He was the one who handled all the big stuff, the manly the house projects, being that he built, wired, and plumbed everything, and I am just trying to figure it all out and what repairs need to happen first. It's all on me now because my mom has been pretty much in her own grieving world. It’s weird how grief sneaks up on you. You think you’re moving forward, and then suddenly, it just hits you again out of nowhere. But I can't let it get in the way of what needs to get done around the homestead.
Stuck in a Rut
I’ve been wanting to get back to posting more regularly, but every time I try, I just feel stuck. It’s frustrating because I know that once I get back into the groove, things will flow again. But getting started after losing momentum? Absolutely brutal. It’s like when you haven’t flown my drone in a while, and when I go to rip a pack but everything feels off and I end up having to recover a crashed drone. You know what to do, but it just doesn’t click the same way as it did before.
Pushing Through It
So, I figured I’d do what I always tell people to do when they hit a block—just start writing. Even if it’s not perfect, even if it felt forced at first, just put words on the page. And if you’re reading this, well, that means I at least got this one out! Woo Hoo! Sometimes, you just have to push through and let things be a little bit on the messy side.
What’s Next?
I’m not giving up on this yet. I still have big plans for Hive, Hivelist, mining, trading, and sharing my FPV adventures. I just need to get back into the rhythm and let myself breathe a little. Life’s heavy sometimes, but that doesn’t mean I stop moving forward. So, if you’re feeling stuck too, whether it’s with writing, creating, or just handling life, just know that you’re not alone. We just have to keep showing up, even if it’s one small step at a time.
