Once again I've had a delay in receiving my "print on demand" orders because the platform occasionally tries to tell me that I haven't "updated the payment method", which in this case is paypal, always has been and always will be, not least because it's the only payment method. And in January, a bad month for those who work in T-shirt printing because very few people order T-shirts at the beginning of the year. I ended up having to once again take a drastic measure that I had always avoided: withdrawing my cryptocurrencies.
SourceEverything I have and have had on Binance has always been materialized through my production here on Hive, in other words, I've never had to invest a single penny, everything I've achieved has been by writing content here, converting HBD into Hive and sending it to the broker. Investing in other currencies, and also occasionally withdrawing in Brazilian reais (the local currency). I'd been avoiding doing this for a long time, and watched my account slowly rise (even more so with the rise that's been going on). But today, with a heavy heart, I had to sell all my Chainlink and Solana. It was the only way I could pay basic bills that were screaming at me, pay my daughter's child support, pay a bill I made on my mother's credit card (yeah, how ugly is that? Borrowing your mother's card to get on with life... it's not easy).
But this post isn't just about regrets, it's also an ode to the power and freedom that cryptocurrencies give us. I'm very glad I got into it a few years ago, even though I never had a turning point where I hit the big time and grew intensely through crypto (and it wasn't and isn't for lack of trying!) I had these currencies available to help me at crucial moments, where there was no other way out. What an incredible time to experience the economy updating itself through blockchain. It's just a shame that it's still so difficult to get out of the gray zone, from square one. I'd really like to have an economic breakthrough, it's the only thing I'm missing. I've tried several networks similar to Hive but it seems that none have the same capacity, I've tried NFT (and I've tried hard) without any success, I've never sold anything and it's impossible not to think that it's a scam, I've invested in some coins at least to have some units of them and see them boom who knows, but it never happened, I've saved thousands of Hive's own altcoins like VYB and POB and I've only seen them depreciate infinitely, to the point that I've sold thousands for miserable values. I don't know where the "cat's leap" is. I can't find this "secret". All I can do is keep trying.

Uma vez mais eu acabei tendo um atraso dos meus recebimentos de "print on demand" por que a plataforma ocasionalmente cisma em dizer que eu não "atualizei a forma de pagamento", que no caso é paypal, sempre foi e sempre será, até porque é o único meio de pagamento. E logo em janeiro, um mês péssimo para quem trabalha fazendo estampas em camisetas porque muito pouca gente encomenda camisetas no começo do ano. Acabei tendo que novamente tomar uma medida drástica que eu sempre evitava: sacar minhas criptomoedas.

Aplicando em outras moedas, e também sacando um tanto ocasionalmente em reais brasileiros (a moeda local). Já fazia um bom tempo que eu evitava fazer isso, e via minha conta subir lentamente (ainda mais com a alta que vem rolando). Mas hoje com pesar no coração precisei vender toda minha Chainlink e minha Solana. Era o único jeito de pagar contas básicas que estavam gritando aqui, atrasadas, pagar a pensão da minha filha, pagar uma conta que fiz no cartão de crédito de minha mãe (pois é, que feio né? Emprestando cartão da mãe pra dar conta da vida... não é fácil).
Mas esse post não é só sobre lamentação não, é também uma ode ao poder e a liberdade que as criptomoedas nos dão. Sou muito feliz de ter entrado nessa há alguns anos atrás, ainda que eu jamais tenha tido um momento de virada da mesa onde dei a sorte grande e cresci intensamente através da crypto (e olha que não foi e não é por falta de tentativa!) eu tive essas moedas disponíveis para me ajudar em momentos cruciais, onde não haveria outra saída. Que tempos incríveis para se viver a experiência da economia atualizando-se através da blockchain. Só é uma pena mesmo que ainda seja tão difícil sair da zona cinza, da estaca zero. Eu queria muito ter uma guinada econômica, é a única coisa que me falta. Eu tentei várias redes semelhantes ao Hive mas parece que nenhuma tem a mesma capacidade, eu tentei NFT (e tentei com força) sem sucesso nenhum, nunca vendi nada e é impossível não achar que aquilo é uma farsa, eu apliquei em algumas moedas ao menos para ter algumas unidades delas e vê-las bombar quem sabe, mas nunca aconteceu, eu guardei milhares de altcoins do próprio Hive como o VYB e o POB e os vi apenas se desvalorizarem ao infinito, a ponto que vendi milhares por miseráveis valores. Eu não sei aonde está o "pulo do gato". Eu não consigo encontrar esse "segredo". O que me resta é seguir tentando.
