I don't even know where to start, but I might have come into a big-money opportunity and I had to invest the time to possibly profit later, that's why I was away from HIVE for a couple of days.
That, and as you probably don't know because I haven't made the official announcement yet, I finally published the website I had been building to scale my recruiting operations.
This money opportunity I referenced just a second ago, I trusted in a handful of parties by providing them the key details to see if they wanted in...one of them then said something that shocked me. In short, despite the fact that I clearly told him we were working based on faith, he asked again about the compensation. To this I responded with what is now my new favorite term along with Vitalik's Ethically-Challenged, I again reiterated that we would be conducting Speculative Work.

I don't trade. I don't trade on Coinbase, Binance, KuCoin, or any other exchange unless I absolutely have to. Why? I'm too young for that kind of stress, that's not fun, and that's really not as predictable as other types of conductual patterns.
Furthermore I don't trade, and I mean no offense to those who do profit regularly from exchanging digital assets in the crypto markets, because I don't need a little money right now but big money later. Easy come easy goes. I need to at least be able to justify all my millions in court if there's ever a misunderstanding. Lastly, having to rely on others to lose money as a result of my gains is not something I'd personally be proud to call my occupation. More power to you if you can, I suppose...

I've been very busy, done well in the last couple of days despite a hacking attempt which might or might not have been directed at me personally but we all should be in the lookout for anyways.
I got a freebie sample while negotiating some business deals and that's kinda what brought me to write this, other than wanting to check-in with you all.
Did you know that people don't want to take calls anymore? They don't really make calls either. They text, send voice messages, email, and if it's that complex of a situation to describe they might need their hand gestures too so they video call. But speak on the actual phone? Someone better get those numbers for us to analyze from different carriers around the world, I know it's bad but I have a feeling I'd too be surprised about how much how talk time has decreased.
And why would I think that's a bad thing so long as we communicate somehow? Well I don't think it's bad, if it weren't for video calls my niece wouldn't know who I am being that she's a baby, I just think currently not getting on the phones might be a poor business move.

Email is better for business, sure. Chat is convenient, I love it. But the rush of getting on the phone with a total stranger knowing something profitable could be built from that interaction? You should probably try it, do it at least once, do it so you know how it feels.
Sin is a vague concept. I see sin as indulgence in a way, excess, I'm not a Christian but was raised in that environment, from what I gather about the things that sin is supposed to cause in a person's life it probably entails being unbalanced somehow...so there must be excess somewhere in that life.
Location, location, location. Realtors will tell you, they tell you on the first episode of House of Cards too. I don't think that I'd ever convert back to my parents' religion but I'd consider it at least for one second if only Kevin Spacey, Robin Wright and Michael Kelly came back for a new season. Bring them back in her head, please, make this happen for us who still pay for Netflix.

Location is everything, the most precious location for anyone who means to benefit from their creation is the imagination of a potential consumer.
Imagination is tied to sight, but it's also tied to our hearing. Imagination can also be tied to taste, touch, and even smells but I can't imagine imagining without my eyes or my ears. I often wonder how people who are disabled in this manner experience the imaginative process, especially if they never had those senses to begin with.
Did you know it is said that people who are born blind can't get schizophrenia? An interesting observation if it's true, it could easily reveal the cause and perhaps even solution for the affliction.
One of the best ways that I know into people's imaginations is sound, I'm sure you know at least one jingle. Sound matters so much that billions worship celebrities and many will actually faint at the sight of their favorite one.

So if you have the voice to get on the phone, I actually suggest that you do that. And please, for the sake of everything that is sacred, if you have your parents or grandparents in a home or living on their own, please call them from time to time because they don't know how to work their phone. It's heartbreaking to hear from a person who thinks their family is not calling because they don't want to.
I don't want to talk either, I don't want to talk to anyone, as a matter of fact I might be happier if phones go away altogether. For real, I'm seriously traumatized by all the years I worked on the phones. I started taking calls when I was like 15 years old, I learned the English language by the pressure of having to tell someone that the football game Sunday thing they organized at home for all his office friends is not happening, that we would instead have to send a technician to get the one channel back but that it would take two weeks.
I did warranties and banking too, do you know who calls banks? People with problems, and the rarest of problems are happening on their actual accounts. Healthy people will get their balance from the IVR or use the app, do you know who attempts to speak to someone to get their balance? Scammers trying to get credits, drunk or otherwise intoxicated and mentally ill people, abandoned elders, and people with sensory/mobility disabilities. All humans, all important to society including the scammers I suppose, but do you imagine talking to a hundred of them every day and having to convince them that verifying the PIN or SSN last 4 is not negotiable?

I feel you, I don't want to get on the phone either. But every now and then we need to be able to either sell a dream or sell the pitch that we can sell a dream.
The easiest and cheapest way to capture your clients' imagination is to actually hit that phone icon on your phone, you know, the thing that actually makes it a phone, and learn how to use it.
I have been on the phone a lot lately trying to get some people hyped up enough to work with me on some projects, but that's not what drove me to write this. I plan to combine both an auditory and visual strategy to spread the word about my business, what better way than with freebies?
So I went to Alibaba and saw what the Chinese had. Cheap? Sure, considering the competition, but it would take too long. That's when I started researching more local companies. I guess I must have put my name and number somewhere because I got a call...

I responded to that call on the very first ring! Some people think it smells like desperation when you answer at the first ring, but if you picked up that quickly you were probably already on your phone doing something, hopefully working, and you picked up so promptly because you're open to negotiating or at the very least you're unconcerned about debt collectors.
Don't even remember the dude's name, I actually told him I didn't even remember requesting a custom promotional product sample on his website but that I probably did because I was shopping around. He asked about my business needs and I told him that I couldn't give not even a close estimate on what I might be needing or if I will choose his company to print my t-shirts or whatever else I'm giving away. I seriously told him, verbatim, "I don't make money by giving stuff away."

Right there and then he said he was approving my sample kit and 2 days later I got it in the mail. Beautiful stuff by the way, he doesn't know I'm writing this, not sure I'll tell him either, not even sure I'll work with them because their items and packaging look like they would cost me a ton.
But hey, even if you don't do business right away or at all, I shared this great experience with others which could bring some business to him. I'll talk to him again if he calls, but I won't feel pressured to order anything from SwagUp.com unless I can actually work with their quotes. That's the thing, you should never feel scared of interacting on the phone, what can they do to you?
