Charles Hoskinson, CEO of IOHK and co-founder of Cardano, said: Today, more than 175 projects are being built on the Cardano network, with more than 12 projects set to launch by the end of Q1 2022.
The Cardano founder posted an image on his latest tweet to clarify the misinformation circulating on Reddit about the project's development. Cardano currently has a record of 178 projects on the network as of Jan. 1 to date. It plans to launch 13 projects in the quarter and 11 projects in the first quarter of 2022.
Previously, Cardano's founder's goal was to fix the DeFi sector caused by a decentralized finance error during a YouTube livestream in Colorado.
As previously reported, Hoskinson said that Cardano would be able to fix bugs on DeFi to eliminate low-quality applications. The Ouroboros protocol ensures Cardano will last longer.
However, 2021 has been a very remarkable year in terms of partnerships for Cardano, launching 13 partnerships, including Eco-Age and Save and the Children NGO.
