While this seemed to be a slower week in terms of growth, and not the best one for my weekly goals, with only one being achieved, I have a couple interesting developments to report from this past week, both of which came as surprises to me. I'll get to those in a moment.

This week I gained +39.929 HP, +2.846 HBD in Savings, and +0.03 Reputation, which means that I slightly exceeded my HP goal by +0.404 HP, but that I was under my goal for HBD in Savings by -0.542 HBD, and under my Reputation goal by -0.01 Reputation, so reasonable growth, but not so great for weekly goals. My HP growth was a bit lower than it has been lately, and this is also the first time that I exceeded my HP goal by such a small margin.
In terms of my HiveBuzz rankings, I jumped +8 places for Reputation, I leapt +12 places for HP, and I rose +7 places for HBD in Savings, so while there was some good advancement, my increases were a bit more modest here too this week. As long as I generally keep moving upward, I'm happy.
Due to a missing decimal, the Spinvest team accidentally paid out an unintended massive amount of EDS to delegators of @eds-vote this week, which they thankfully very quickly rectified by creating and airdropping a new token, EDSI, to take EDS's place. While it was cool to receive over 25 EDS in one shot, I knew that it was an error, which was confirmed when I checked the layer-2 transactions for the @eddie-earner account, and when I saw the post about it the next morning. With the airdropped EDSI, I'm back to where I should be for my EDS holdings, just with a different token.
In rather unexpected and exciting news, the leadership of the We Are Alive Tribe was officially transfered to the last three remaining core members, me being one of them. Erik, the founder was absent for most of 2024 due to a change in life situation, and while he expected to return sooner, things didn't flow that way, so he decided to finally transfer ownership and leadership of the community to the three of us that kept it going for the last year while he was away. He transfered 14 accounts to us, of which @thisisawesome was not one of them, and also started a buyback of his AWESOME token, that he's decomissioning. I used what I made from selling my AWESOME to buy another 18+ DRIP, which gave the holding on this account a nice boost. Before he put his buyback in, the AWESOME token was of a very low value (due to his absence), so the buyback was a very honorable act on his part for investors to recoup their investments.
