Welcome to my 159th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update! While I did have some reasonable gains this past week overall, it seems that growth was a bit on the slower side. All good, I just keep chugging along on my irrevocable quest to whaledom. On a positive note, I'll pass the significant milestone of 10,000 Hive Power at some point in this new week. Yep, it's going quite a bit more slowly than I'd like, but it's still going!
The other notable news from last week is that I finally dove into an exploration of HP leasing via Hive Engine, and as such I've added it as the 6th component of my Hive Multi-Stream Passive-Income Machine. While I have multiple layer-2 investments which boost my layer-1 growth, HP leasing is one of my very few layer-1 investments that boosts layer-2 growth, since I'm paid daily in SWAP.HIVE for my leased delegations. That extra SWAP.HIVE is coming very much in handy as I dive ever deeper into assorted diesel/liquidity pools.

Over this past week I gained +45.9 Hive Power, +2.201 HBD in Savings, and +0.03 Reputation points, which means that I still have 5,031.938 HP, 104.259 HBD in Savings, and 0.56 Reputation points to go to reach my year-end goals. HP is going to need some serious help, that's for sure.
In terms of my HiveBuzz rankings, I inched up +3 places for HP, I dropped -1 place for HBD in Savings, and I jumped +9 places for Reputation, so a pretty mediocre week. I would guess that lots more people are still adding HBD to Savings for me to still be dropping in ranking.
HP leasing is an avenue of investing and leveraging assets that I've wanted to explore more fully, since up until this point my only experience with it was doing it a few times via DLease, when that frontend was still operational. Yesterday, however, I decided to take the plunge, by accepting a lease of 700 HP for 4 weeks at a 9.21% APR via Hive Engine. The one thing that I will say so far is that the SWAP.HIVE payments that I received are less than expected, and which don't seem to add up based on the originally-stated parameters for the lease. That's a bit annoying, but the extra SWAP.HIVE is still helpful. I'm very curious about the discrepancy.
My primary investment focus at the moment is still diesel/liquidity pools, where I've been very judiciously continuing to add liquidity to a great many different pools, with several newer ones finally reaching the threshold for earning pool fees. Two pools have been getting extra attention over the past 2 weeks or so, BEE:WORKERBEE and SWAP.HIVE:BXT, as I need a whole lot of all of those useful assets, and I've been working to get them both past their respective thresholds for pool-fee payouts, and to get the BXT pool past its threshold for daily BXT liquidity rewards, both of which I've already successfully accomplished. The deeper that I go into the pools, the deeper that I want to go!
