Today I want to talk about the community topic.
At the moment it is hard for someone that wants to build a community from scratch, because there is no way for return.
An example.
A community cost 3 Hive, a Tribe way more. If you invite people and promote this community, you get nothing back in the end.
It was the same with front ends back in the day on St**m, there was no way to earn something.
People hate to share little past of posting rewards. I think it was something between 1%-5%.
I remember posts, people made bad advertisements about it. Like, save the 5%.
But that is the wrong way to do it.
If the community wallet would earn 0,5% of posting rewards, it would be close to nothing for 1 user. But it would be worth it to grow the community and advertise it.
It can be if the community big enough for a full-time job. So Hive would reward building in this case.
There can also be micro jobs like community managers paid with it or contests.
Besides this, little community can test first, save rewards and buy up later a Tribe with its own token.
It would be in general a better system, but it also depends on the mindset of users.
Builder needs a way to get rewarded onchain. Because this is a trustless way to build something.
Conclusion:
2 Things, first it would be a good thing to offer creators an easy way to monetize and
Second:
It would be a super cool way to market Hive in the world. On Facebook or whatever.
There are so many communities on WEB 2 that earn with sponsored posts, one reason the Internet is so commercial. This would be a way by nature to become bigger and grow and allow people to grind up their communities.
From scratch to Tribe to cool app.
What do you think?
