IN the last few moths of passive investment in Splinterlands game, I've to appreciate more the creativity and dedication put in to build the game. Having the options to chose the tempo of your investment is just priceless.
My attraction to Splinterlands started when I started receiving SPS airdrops. I actually discovered after many weeks of the daily airdrops and it was quite surprising how rich I was without my knowledge. Thanks to @Achim03 that gave me the guide to claim my SPS tokens.
My SPS earned were on account of my staked SPT tokens for curation on Splintertalk.io. Many who follow my blog would understand my obsessions for second layer token curation. My Hive holdings have actually grown from there, and I found a place of relevance in many communities by promoting the investment opportunities available for their tokens. It's been a very interesting journey which started with SPORTS, then LEO, CTP, LIST and others.
Going forward, I became intentional with improving my SPS airdrop points few weeks ago., I discovered the huge multiplier effect in HODLing DEC tokens and that became my strategy. IO found out that quite late, not minding, the growth so far has been smooth. From about 200 SPS to 650, I'm getting closer to my first thousand in SPS stake.
I've gradually grown my DEC holdings to 45,000 with 5k added few minutes ago with 5.45 HIVE. I'm glad that would increase my daily SPS airdrop by about 0.3 and its still decent. Growing my crypto holdings has been organic and slow, yet, the compounding effect has been massive. Over the next 25 days that is left for the airdrop, I wish to hit 100k DEC balance to at least double my SPS earning rate in the last 10 days coming.
Getting DEC today are like candies. They're worth nothing much, the SPS obtained for HODLing DEC looks juicy on the long run. My push to investing in Splinterlands is a long term thing. I'll HODL to see SPS at $1 or even more. meanwhile, with pSPS pool on PolyCUB, there are awesome ways to grow wealth with the SPS token.
In the last Splinterlands Town Hall Summary held on June 27th, 2022, the Splinterlands promised to release more information on new liquidity pool rewards/incentives as well as additional SPS rewards shortly for after the airdrop. It is obvious that the team is happy with passive investors like myself to keep gathering SPS.
It will interest you how SPS value would get boosted once the multi-game vaults go live on Splinterlands which would surely utilize DEC and SPS.
