Rewards are crucial components of the Hive ecosystem. This is a feature that stands out in the cryptocurrency-powered blogging platform besides its social features and thus, another reason added to decentralization that users should flee centralized socialmedia.
I am proud to tell anyone around that my engagements on the Hive blockchain are well rewarded and my time as well as internet data spent are well catered for. I get rewarded for making posts as well as "liking" the posts of other authors.
On the Hive blockchain, new tokens are distributed based on the votes of the users. When users have more "Hive Power" it results in a bigger vote. Exchanging one's HIVE for Hive Power is called "Powering Up" or "Staking".
Currently, the Hive blockchain operates on a 50%/50% sharing formular for rewards among the author/curators respectively. Out of the reward 60% being 0.978 CTP was paid to the author and 40% being 0.652 CTP was shared to the curators.
I call the CTP token as "the engagement token" on Hive blockchain. A Content creator would love to go for CTP because a greater part of the rewards goes to the author. AN investor would love to go for CTP because the token is accepted outside of Hive for affiliate marketing and traffic generation. CTP token is currently worth 0.062 HIVE.
CHARY Token
CHARY token powers an online community of that supports charity helpers / people that do good things to others and has https://www.chary.org/ as the website. The below post payout screenshot paid out 123.5 CHARY. Out of the reward 95% being 117.341 CHARY was paid to the author and 5% being 6.175 CHARY was shared to the curators.
I call the CHARY token as "the charity token". CHARY is exceptional because it is all giving. I use this token to power my @HiveAid account which is to support #hiveimpact and #cryptoimpact projects. Humanitarians would always have a huge support here. CHARY token is currently worth 0.01 HIVE.
SPORTS Token
SPORTS token powers an online community for sports contents has https://www.sportstalksocial.com/ as the website. The below post payout screenshot paid out 43,496 SPORTS. Out of the reward 55% being 24,164 SPORTS was paid to the author and 45% being 19,331 SPORTS was shared to the curators.
I call the SPORTS token as "the entertainment/passion token" on Hive blockchain. A Content would love to go for SPORTS because a greater part of the rewards goes to the author. An investor would love to go for SPORTS because the token is is cheap and has a great potential owing to the fan base for sports worldwide. SPORTS token is currently worth 0.00004 HIVE.
