I have a dream that one day, educational centers would emerge where learners can think of beautiful creations without a cost.
I have a dream that one day, we would have developing nations of the world that are self sufficient in technology not in comparison with other nations, but to meet the native need of the citizens.
I have a dream that someday,Creative Studies taught in Nigerian schools shall not be for head knowledge but for tiny creations, even from garbage.
It saddens my heart that to now that nations of the world are shutting their borders to contain with the covid-19 pandemic, some other nations are still hopeful for the delivery of ordered or gifted facilities and equipment. This makes me wonder what the qualifications for independence are if not basic technology to meet the needs of the citizenry.
Each time I handle the above hand fan, "cheap creativity and innovation" keeps ringing in my mind. Now that the covid pandemic would force nations to adopt virtual governance and operations as it relates with all related sectors, I'm worried at how effective it would be in building learners that would have tangible things to offer as legacies for the future. Or would this spurthe best if innovations?
Each day conventional education gets children bugged and bored with routine learning experience where students sit and watch teachers speak to them. In reality, these have nothing good to offer to our society.
Today's workplace demands creativity and that at it's peak in the part of the employees. The advances in Technology - blockchain development, Artificial intelligence and robotics development places demand for all learners who are future employees and employers to be vested with what creativity and innovation really means.
Creativity must not be costly, innovation must not be sophisticated!
Many tend to see creativity as rocket science, but it isn't. Even our waste could be creatively made into something beautiful and tangible. Think of the fan in the banner image, think of you the rubber bottle canoe, the materials were supposed to have been wasted but they were converted to tangible stuffs.
