Few days ago, I received a comment from Hivebuzz informing that I have successfully created 1,400 posts on the Hive blockchain in addition to 6,500 comments and 14,000 upvotes badges I had earlier unlocked. These has been achieved within the past 30 months of my being a part of the blockchain.
While I joined the Steem Hive blockchain in January, 2018,I was greatly endeared by the learning opportunities I saw especially on the #howto tag which constituted a huge enrichment to my knowledge base. I later discovered that I could make some tangible "extra income" from sharing my contents on the blockchain. Today, it grows further to becoming an investment platform for me.
Within these months of my engagement of this chain, I have given in a good amount of time each day to:
- Read and learn from what other users are sharing;
- Curate the posts of other users with comments and votes; and
- Create my contents which are majorly borne out of my experiences and personal research outcomes.
Doing the above listed activities consume about 4 to 5 hours of my day for the days that I am active. However, tabs of Hive posts has constituted the most opened tabs on my PC for the past months of my activity here as long as I have access to the internet.
I give that much time to the blockchain because I love the creativity that thrives here. When I see how awesome, users create posts, images and the dedication of the developers in giving us mouth-watering interfaces, I have just one option which is to stick around here.

Thanks to @Arcange for building the tool which helps me track my engagement statistics on the blockchain. Specifically, the number of posts, comments and upvotes given out to the Hive blockchain are as follows:
- 1,407 Posts
- 6,520 Comments
- 14,213 Upvotes
The above real figures brings me closer to unlocking the next badges: 1,500 posts, 7,000 comments and 15,000 upvotes.
On the Hive blockchain, socialization is in its full course and that with earnings. I also appreciate all fans I've got on this chain whose replies and upvotes received has also been very engaging and encouraging.
While the ratio of my comments given to replies received was was 2.3 (6,520/2824), the ratio of my upvotes given to that received was 0.177 (14,213/80,116).
I'll keep engaging other users as I grow here and will be glad to know how many unique users I have commented on their blogs and given my upvotes. I wish @abh12345 can provide such stat.
