dCity hat seit gestern eine komplett neu überarbeitete Website zum Launch der 3rd-Edition-Karten, die ziemlich cool und moderner aussieht.
Responsive Design Bug
Habe allerdings Probleme mit der Website auf meinem Surface Pro-Tablet. Die Seite zeigt jetzt plötzlich die mobile Version an, die kaum benutzbar ist (siehe Bild unten).
Um das Problem zu lösen, muss man im Web-Browser etwas herauszoomen (90%) und dann die Seite neu laden, damit man die Desktop-Version angezeigt bekommt. Ist nicht optimal, hoffe die Seite wird noch für eine Bildschirmbreite von 1200px angepasst.
Neues UI
An das neue UI muss ich mich noch ein bisschen gewöhnen, es sind auch noch nicht alle Unterseiten verfügbar. Was mir bis jetzt aufgefallen ist: Die Map-Seite enthält jetzt mehr Informationen auf der linken Seite und auch der Marktplatz wurde komplett überarbeitet und sieht jetzt mehr wie ein Krypto-Tradingtool aus. Und es gibt jetzt auch Notifications. Alles in allem sieht die Seite moderner und krypto-affiner aus.
3rd Edition Karten
Am 30. April soll die 3. Edition der dCity-Karten für alle Spieler (ohne Early Access Pass) mit einem ganz neuen Kartenset an den Start gehen. Wie bei anderen NFT-Spielen (Splinterlands) wird es dann möglich sein, mehrere Karten zu einer neuen mächtigeren Karte (Gebäude) zu vereinen.
Basis für die kombinierten Karten ist die neue Construction Site Karte. Neue kombinierte Gebäude sind zum Beispiel ein Universitätscampus, eine Polizei-Akademie oder eine Zentralbank 😂
Neben neuen Technologie-Karten wird es erstmals auch Prevention-Karten geben, mit denen man einmalig eine Krise 7 Tage lang abwenden kann. Zum Beispiel schützt eine Vaccine-Karte vor einer Pandemie. Witzig.
Neue 1st-Edition-Karten werden übrigens seit dem 19. März 2021 nicht mehr gedruckt, was zu einem Preisanstieg der Karten der ersten Generation geführt hat.

dCity has a completely revamped website since yesterday for the official launch of the 3rd edition cards, which looks pretty neat and modern.

I'm having issues with the site on my Surface Pro tablet though. The site now suddenly displays the mobile version, which is barely usable (see image below).
In order to solve the problem, you have to zoom out a bit in the browser (90%) and then reload the page to see the desktop version. It's not ideal and I hope the page will be adapted for a screen width of 1200px in the future.
New UI
I still have to get used to the new UI, also not all subpages are available yet. What I've noticed so far is that the map page displays more information on the left side and also the marketplace has been completely redesigned and now looks more like a crypto trading tool. Notifications have been added as well. Bottom line, the site looks more modern and more crypto affine.
3rd Edition Cards
On April 30th, the 3rd edition of dCity cards is scheduled to launch for all players (without Early Access Pass) with a whole new set of cards/buildings. As with other NFT games (Splinterlands), it will be possible for the first time to combine multiple cards into a new more powerful card/building.
The basis for the combined cards is the new Construction Site card. New combined buildings are, for example, a university campus, a police academy or a central bank 😂
In addition to new Technology cards, there will also be Prevention cards for the first time, which can be used once to avert a crisis for 7 days. For example, a Vaccine card protects against a pandemic. Funny.
By the way, 1st Edition cards stopped being printed since March 19th, 2021, which has led to an increase in the price of the first generation cards.
