Binance CEO CZ wurde in den USA von der CFTC wegen Verstößen der Trading-Regulierung angezeigt.
Unter anderem wird ihm vorgeworfen 300 "House-Accounts" zu betreiben und auf der Plattform gegen die Kunden zu traden und unzulässige Derivate angeboten und zu wenig unternommen zu haben, um US-Bürger vom Trading auszuschließen. Binance hat bis jetzt keine Registrierung bei der CFTC.
Inzwischen gibt es ein offizielles Statement von CZ, in dem er die Anschuldigungen vehement abstreitet. Er würde die Plattform nur für persönliche Krypto-Trades verwenden und sich an die Regeln halten und mit den US-Regulatoren zusammenarbeiten.
Laut Adam Cochran hat die Anklage gute Chancen, das Binance-Imperium zu Fall zu bringen. Zumindest in den USA.
Vor Kurzem ist auch die SEC gegen den USD-Stablecoin BUSD von Binance vorgegangen und hat Paxos verboten, den populären Stablecoin für Binance zu betreiben.
Insgesamt kommt mir vor, dass die US-Behörden es auf Binance abgesehen haben und alles Mögliche unternehmen, um Binance und Krypto zu Fall zu bringen.
Insider-Trading gibt es wahrscheinlich auch bei anderen unregulierten Krypto-Börsen und vielleicht sogar bei traditionellen Börsen. Nur besser verschleiert.
Das Vorgehen gegen Binance könnte auch Teil eines Wirtschaftskriegs der USA gegen China sein, da Binance den Anschein hat ein chinesisches Unternehmen zu sein, obwohl CZ ein kanadischer Geschäftsmann ist. Jedenfalls ist die erfolgreichste Krypto-Börse kein US-Unternehmen und das könnte der USA ein Dorn im Auge sein.

Binance CEO CZ has been charged by the CFTC in the US for trading regulation violations.
Among other things, he is accused of operating 300 "house accounts" and trading on the platform against customers and offering unauthorized derivatives and doing too little to exclude US citizens from trading. Binance has not registered with the CFTC until now.
There is now an official statement from CZ in which he vehemently denies the allegations. He would only use the platform for personal crypto trades and would abide by the rules and cooperate with US regulators.
According to Adam Cochran, the indictment has a good chance of bringing down the Binance empire. At least in the US.
Recently, the SEC also took action against Binance's USD stablecoin BUSD and banned Paxos from operating the popular stablecoin for Binance.
Overall, it seems to me that the US authorities have it in for Binance and are doing everything possible to bring Binance and crypto down.
Insider trading probably exists on other unregulated crypto exchanges and maybe even traditional exchanges. Just better disguised.
The crackdown on Binance could also be part of a U.S. economic war against China, since Binance has the appearance of being a Chinese company even though CZ is a Canadian businessman. Anyway, the most successful crypto exchange is not a US company and that could be a thorn in the side of the US.
