VIPService is mixing things up with the recent market changes and Hive token run up! Since VIP is not divisible (decimal precision of 0) I decided that we needed to fix a few things. For starters I have begun offering VIP tokens in increments of 0.01 SWAP.HIVE rather than just 0.10. All tokens are still powered up into the account to grow the Hive Power exponentially over time. Additionally I will be re-examining the tiers to allow people to get in with less VIP tokens for a smaller vote percentage. This has yet to be determined but I will be making an update for this.
In one week, on Christmas day, I will be doing an airdrop to all of the active VIPs who are using the service! To qualify you must hold at least 100 VIP tokens in your wallet and must have posted at least one time. The precise nature of the airdrop will not be revealed yet but anyone who has supported the project thus far will be rewarded.
Every day the project is earning through curation as well as the SPS airdrops. I have been selling the SPS and compounding the DEC and Hive holdings on Hive-engine to further increase the treasury. Eventually when the time is right I will be purchasing hive for power ups to the account, but since APR on holding DEC is much higher it only makes sense to milk that for as long as possible first.
VIP is also backing the PUNKZ project by providing market liquidity and holding the underlying Hive Punk assets backing the PUNKZ tokens. By utilizing a multi-investment strategy we can accelerate our growth over time rather than relying purely on Hive alone.
