Today is the first day of June... How time flies by. We're almost into the second half of the year.
Today is Children's Day. And exactly fifteen years ago today, I bought the apartment I'm currently in. It was a very special day at the time, as it marked an important step in my life. As well as the responsibilities I would now have, it also brought me a lot of independence. These years on, and although I still have many years to go before I can pay off the mortgage to the bank, 241 months to be precise. At the time, I agreed to pay it off in 420 months, or 35 years. But I only have another 20 years to go and my mortgage is paid off.
For some time now, I've been thinking about renovating my house. The idea arose from the need to change the plumbing. Since changing the plumbing will require opening up the walls to change the pipes, I'm going to take advantage of this and remodel the kitchen, the bathroom, as well as the flooring in the bedrooms and living room, and maybe even remove one of the walls that currently exists between the entrance hall and the living room, which will make the house much wider and with less of a barrier.
But all this is almost as “scary” as buying the house. I still don't have a final budget for the cost of the work, and I have to find a place to put all the furniture, kitchen utensils, books and clothes while the work takes place... In other words, for at least 4 to 5 weeks.
As for where I'll be while the work is going on, it'll probably be my mother's house, but I don't know yet if I'll have to find another option.
What can I say about the previous month? Well, I managed to stick to my primary goal of posting every day, which turned out to be a nice surprise for me. Unfortunately, I haven't been as active in communities where I used to post more, such as Black and White Photography. I'll see if I can get back to posting a bit this month. On the other hand, I tried posting via 3Speak, which turned out to be much simpler than I thought it would be.
With regard to Hive Power, I managed to reach my target of 10K! That's an increase of 5.8% on the previous figure. A solid growth, which I see continuing, as I plan to at least Power Up 100 Hive on a monthly basis. The possibility of having some Hive on Binance, which is generating approximately 38.64% APR, is very solid, without the need to buy more Hive on my own. What I have is generating enough for me to do the Power Up, and continue to grow the value of the Hive I have on Binance. A double win situation (thanks again @pardinus)!
As far as the world is concerned, things are becoming more and more uncertain, which is to say that the unpredictability of the markets is increasingly linked to decision-making by various world players. The war in Ukraine is far from abating. The continuous and increasingly violent attacks by the Kremlin are leading to a situation in which desperation for peace is increasingly taking hold of the general sentiment.
But let's hope that Putin is put in his place, and that he doesn't take it too far when it comes to conquering and encompassing Ukrainian territory under his aegis.
Many things are about to happen in my personal life. I hope everything goes well and that I'm healthy enough to pay the bills for the work on my house! I'm sure that renovating this property will bring me a gain in terms of its value, which could guarantee that one day I'll be able to rent it out for a smaller apartment, since I live alone and this house is for a family with one child.

Bem vindos a mais uma recapitulação mensal!
Hoje é o primeiro dia do mês de Junho... Como o tempo passa. Estamos a entrar quase no segundo semestre do ano.
Comemora-se hoje o Dia da Criança. E faz exactamente hoje quinze anos, que eu comprei o apartamento no qual estou. Na altura foi um dia muito especial, pois acabou por marcar um importante passo na minha vida. Para além das responsabilidades que eu passaria a ter, também me trouxe muita independência. Passados estes anos, e apesar de ainda me faltarem muitos anos para poder liquidar a hipoteca ao banco, mais precisamente 241 meses. Contratei na altura o pagamento em 420 meses, ou seja em 35 anos. Mas já só me faltam mais 20 anos e tenho a hipoteca saldada.
De há uns tempos para cá que ando a pensar fazer obras de remodelação na minha casa. A ideia surgiu da necessidade de mudar a canalização a fundo. Como essa mudança da canalização vai exigir que se abram as paredes para trocar as canalizações, vou aproveitar e remodelar a cozinha, a casa de banho, bem como o pavimento nos quartos e sala, e se calhar até suprimir uma das paredes que actualmente existe entre o hall de entrada e a sala, o que irá tornar a casa muito mais ampla e com menos uma barreira.
Mas isto tudo é quase tão "assustador" como a compra da casa. Ainda não tenho um orçamento final do custo das obras, e tenho que arranjar um espaço para colocar todos os mobiliarios, utensilios de cozinha, livros, e roupa enquanto as obras tomarão lugar... Ou seja, pelo menos durante 4 a 5 semanas.
Em relação ao lugar onde estarei enquanto as obras decorrerem, deverá ser a casa da minha mãe, mas ainda não sei se terei que encontrar outra opção.
Em relação ao anterior mês, o que é que posso dizer? Pois bem, consegui manter o meu objectivo primordial de publicar de forma diária, o que para mim se revelou uma boa surpresa. Infelizmente não tenho sido tão activo em comunidades em que eu até tinha mais publicações anteriormente, como a Black and White Photography. A ver se neste mês consigo retomar um pouco dessas publicações. Em contrapartida, experimentei publicar através do 3Speak, o que se revelou bem mais simples do que eu pensava que seria.
Em relação ao Hive Power, consegui atingir o meu objectivo de 10K! O que significou um incremento de 5,8% em relação ao anterior valor registado. Um crescimento sólido, que eu vejo que se mantenha assim, pois considero fazer pelo menos Power Up de 100 Hive em termos mensais. A possibilidade de ter algum Hive na Binance que está a gerar aproximadamente 38,64% APR em muito vem dar solidez, sem ter necessidade de ir adquirir mais Hive por minha conta. O que u tenho esta a gerar o suficiente para eu fazer os Power Up, e continuar a crescer o valor de Hive que tenho na Binance. Uma situação de duplo ganho (obrigado mais uma vez @pardinus)!
Em relação ao mundo, cada vez as coisas estão mais incertas, que é como quem diz, cada vez a imprevisibilidade dos mercados está associada a tomada de decisões por parte de vários "players" mundiais. A guerra na Ucrânia está longe de ter um abrandamento à vista. Os ataques contínuos e cada vez mais violentos por parte do Kremlin estão a levar a uma situação em que o desespero por uma paz cada vez mais toma do sentimento geral.
Mas esperemos para que o Putin seja colocado no seu lugar, e que não leve a dele avante no que diz respeito à conquista e englobamento do território ucraniano sobre a sua égide.
Muitas coisas estão para acontecer na minha vida pessoal. Espero que corra tudo bem, e que tenha saúde para poder pagar as contas das obras em minha casa! Tenho a certeza que fazer remodelações neste imóvel me irá trazer um ganho em termos de valorização do mesmo, o que me poderá garantir um dia mais tarde poder alugar, indo para um apartamento com menor área, visto eu morar sozinho, e esta casa dar para uma família com um filho.
