There are a bunch of really cool aspects of Hive that you can't just miss from the variety of use cases to the plethora of investment options. Recently the #movetoearn aspect has been trending and we're all anxious to see how many more "to-earns" we can get.
As always, I think one of the best things about Hive for me is the ability to diversify within the system. All my investments on the Hive blockchain, both the thriving and not-thriving investments, have been funded by one part of Hive or another.
I think my first Hive investment that was funded by Hive was my Splinterlands deck. I remember powering down a bunch of Hive then and investing about $50 or $100 on card rentals and other stuff.
That singular investment brought me more success than almost any other thing I've invested in so far. No regrets even though the price drops because I know my deck will probably never get to the value it once was. At least I hope.
After that, my next Hive funded investment was CUB. I always buy CUB with Leo and I'm about to do that again in a few hours. It's at a very sweet giveaway price at the moment and it would almost be a sin to not get some.
Right after CUB, I diversified into a lot of other investments that I currently didn't even remember. Some paid off, a lot of others haven't paid off yet but that doesn't stop me.
At the moment, I'm looking into pSPS because I'll be getting into that as well. We still have about 62 days left for the SPS airdrops and I currently have 1,556 SPS staked so until the airdrop ends, I'll be holding my liquid so I can get into this Liquidity pool.
I got into the pHive liquidity pool with about $5 a couple of weeks ago. Yeah, my investments are pretty little but I can get a little bit of everything so why not?
I have no idea where my diamond will come from so why not spread out the seed, you know? I'm hopeful and believe that every investment pays off but with these petty investments, even if they did, my rewards would be pretty shitty.
I guess the fact that I can invest with as little as possible is also one of the best things about Hive too. Whatever the case may be, I'm investing where I can and reaping from where I can as well.
I look forward to greater investments, but until then, I keep doing what I'm doing and hope for the best.
