Greetings to all #Leofinance guys and gals, a few minutes ago I was looking at information about which were the wallets with more #Bitcoin worldwide, and it really is led me to investigate more about the topic.
That's why today I will tell you a little bit about the statistics of the 3 #Wallet with more #BTC in the world, and who some of these wallets belong to, make yourselves comfortable and I hope you like this post.
We all know that the #Bitcoin has established itself as one of the most popular and valuable digital currencies, and I think that when you heard about this whole topic of #Cryptocurrencies, the first thing you heard was the word BITCOIN, at least that's how it happened in my case.
Within this ecosystem, the wallets that store Bitcoin acquire a fundamental role. That is why today I will talk a bit about the wallets with the most Bitcoins, it is important that you understand that this is only from my perspective as a cryptocurrency enthusiast (NOT A PROFESSIONAL OPINION).
While it is important to keep in mind that what I will share here today is subject to constant change, as wallets can increase or decrease their amount of Bitcoins over time and that will cause some to move up the ranking list or even down the list, but today I will only talk about the top 3 wallets.
The importance of wallets in the Bitcoin world:
I think at this point it is superfluous to explain what a wallet is, since everyone reading this post already has a wallet, even I have a wallet, but I will still explain a little about What is a wallet?.
Wallets are essential tools to store and manage our Bitcoin securely. They are like our wallets but in digital format, where we store our cryptocurrencies and make transactions.
Wallets with the most Bitcoins represent an indicator of trust and power within the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
Wallets can be an address somewhat similar to the ones we are used to see in banks, here I will leave my Bitcoin wallet BEP20 (0xb38ce01772fae39a75af2fe5aa03c804040dfbcb0d)-Donations accepted hahahaha.
That's the Bitcoin wallet format for those who don't know about it, but I repeat, at this point I know you already have experience even more than me in this topic.
But... What about wallets with large amounts of BTC? That is a very good question, and more interesting would be to know who owns such wallet.
Anonymity and mystery:
It is fascinating to note how there are wallets with large amounts of Bitcoins whose owners are unknown. These wallets have aroused the curiosity of the cryptographic community.
Although we do not know the owners of many of them, their existence and the amount of Bitcoins they hold show the trust placed in this cryptocurrency by the community or different entities such as #Binanace or some others in the Crypto market.
Bitfinex and its prominence in the world of wallets:
The wallet (bc1qgdjqv0av3q56jvd82tkdjpy7gdp9ut8tlqmgrpmv24sq90ecnvqqqjwvw97) belonging to Bitfinex, a well-known cryptocurrency exchange house, also stands out in this list.
The amount of Bitcoins it stores shows the trust users place in this popular #Exchange, even knowing that a couple of years ago #Bitfinex was the victim of one of the biggest #Bitcoin thefts by two Cyber Criminals, but that would be good to talk about in another post.
If you look at the image I have shared above this text, you can see the top three wallets with the most #Bitcoin at this very moment you are reading this post.
The curious thing about this is that in the top 3 wallet, we can see one of them that we are not sure who he belongs to.
Although anonymity is always present at all times, this list is led as follows:
- Top 1: Wallet link
Belongs to: Binance-coldwallet
Amount of Bitcoin: 248,597 BITCOIN
Value in $: $6,402,893,784
First transaction to this wallet: 2018-10-18/Time 08:59:18.
Most recent transaction: Currently.
I think it is to be expected that one of the wallets with the largest amount is Binance, and it is an exchange used by many to store their digital assets, here is a screenshot of the image
- Top 2: Wallet link
Belongs to: Bitfinex-coldwallet
Amount of Bitcoin: 178,010 BITCOIN
Value in $: $4,584,841,704
First transaction to this wallet: 2019-08-16/Time 06:00:29
Most recent transaction: Currently.
It is to be expected to #Bitfinex in the top two, because as it happens in #Binance, this is one of the Exchanges with a good amount of active users, so it is logical to also see it in the top 2 of this list.
- Top 2: Wallet link
Belongs to: User unknown/Anonymous
Amount of Bitcoin: 118,300 BITCOIN
Value in $: $3,046,949,238
First transaction to this wallet: 2023-05-08/Time 14:42:20
Most recent transaction: 2023-09-06/Time 12:12:48
The curious thing about this wallet in the top 3 is its anonymity, and something that also intrigues me is how it got to be in the top 3 so quickly, if you look at the statistics, the first transaction in this wallet was on May 8 of this year 2023, this indicates that the wallet has about 4 months of having been created and in such a short time is already leading the number 3 position.
And if you look closely, you can notice that it has a very short distance with respect to the amount of #Bitcoins that #Bitfinex has, what do you think about that?
On the web I also came across this page called Ord.io which I had not seen before (If you know what it is about, it would be great if you could explain it to me in the comments of the post).
The thing is, the same wallet that is leading the top 3, also has an entry on this page, as far as I see it is like a marketplace or collection of #NFTs or something similar, and searching for this wallet gave me as a result this page that I show you here.
The blockchain is somewhat transparent, and as long as you spend a couple of minutes, you can easily see the transactions in each of the wallets.
But this wallet that is in the top 3 of the wallets with the largest amount of bitcoin, is something incredible, because I can't explain how with only 167 transactions so far it is already in the third position of the ranking.
Undoubtedly, it is an unimaginable amount of money, and with that I would have already made my own house and had a good PC to create better content, I just hope that the holder of that wallet at some point read my post and give me at least 0.2 BTC of his great capital hahahaha.
Greetings to all and have a nice day....
