Ahoy mate! I'm excited to get back to posting in this community, which is always a pleasure for me. I had about a month without stopping by, trying to use every last minute of my weekends to finish some things.
And indeed, I finished my Bitcoin mastering course and I also finished the general round of the Hive's Red Carpet contest, I finished victoriously these activities, and I also started the execution of a technology project that I have been working on for a year and I will finally be able to execute.

I know I'm very late for weekend-engagement, but I started the week very busy. Anyway, my message is for this community and the post was already written, so I'm sharing it without competing but with a lot of desire to tell my experience.
Regarding the Hive's Red Carpet competition, I have just come to tell you about something that filled me with fear on Friday of this weekend, since I was among the 10 finalists who went on to the grand final and the challenge of that grand final was to record a video answering two questions and in which I could not take more than 3 minutes to answer.

I felt fear
That's where my fear began because I tend to talk too much, and I have problems synthesizing and summarising my words, or in other words, being more concise. As a second point, the participants were required to make this video in one take without editing and cuts, I was not afraid of this because I knew that I could speak well for that time and with good confidence.
The point of time was my fear. Unfortunately, I left the recording for Friday and Saturday was the last day to publish. It was getting late, I was losing sunlight, and I was in an outdoor space.

I felt good recording and decided to leave it there, it was one take and that was enough for me. But my fear was very true, I shot for about 5 minutes and I was breaking the rule.
I had no more takes and no more time, I liked how I had answered the questions and I didn't want to try again. I had to make a decision, there were two options, I either sent it longer than required or I edited it to cut out the excess, the second option, although it was not in the rules, was a request made to us by the organizers in a meeting.

And other fears emerge
There came another fear, because I didn't want to break any guidelines, following precise instructions is very important. Then I saw that another participant had interruptions in her video, this time because she was interrupting screens with the questions and I decided to take a risk, I deleted the parts of the video that I liked less, but it was very difficult, I liked everything, what I found most difficult to delete was my presentation, it was really good.
Friday night I didn't sleep, I posted my video around 4 am, and the saddest thing was that the public would never know that it was a complete take. I thought not until I decided to come and check this community Weekend Experience and seeing the topic proposed by @galenkp about fears I didn't hesitate to address this topic and take the opportunity to show them my complete video without edits. Now everyone can know the truth and also about my fears.

You can also check the video arranged for the contest (set up english subtitles) 👈🏼 complete and without editing cuts. I don't see that it is bad and now my last fear for this post is: @alteramelia/nhipxthi
What will the jury decide? Several posts of the challenges were edited taking advantage of interspersing screens with the questions, other contestants did it impeccably, really they are all very good, whichever one comes out will be great, they are all translated into English, go and visit them in the Hives Red Carpet community. It's all been great for Hive.
I for one will work on mastering my fears and following instructions. Happy weekend.
