A rainy morning greeted me as I was about to go to sleep, exhausted from a long trip from Metro Manila. Suddenly, my dog started barking. My wife rushed to wake me up, telling me we had visitors. She calmed the dog and welcomed them in. When I looked out the window, I saw my uncle and two cousins. They were asking if I wanted to join them on a trip. It had been years since I'd seen them, so I quickly agreed.

It was built during the Spanish colonial era to protect the area from pirates and other invaders. Even though it's now just a ruin, it's a very striking sight. From there, we got a glimpse of the famous Pebble Beach. I walked along the shore for a moment to feel the smooth, colorful stones under my feet before we continued our journey.
