Hive Orientation and Nature Exploration
Last weekend, I had the pleasure of experiencing a fulfilling and enriching day that combined my(a.)participation in sharing the digital world of Hive blockchain technology to the new users which was followed by an (b.)enjoyable and refreshing walk with nature. It was a perfect blend of learning, bonding together, and enjoying the great outdoors!
Guiding Newcomers: Hive Orientation
My weekend began with the responsibility of inviting and accommodating newcomers on their journey into the world of Hive. It gives me immense pride and pleasure to be part of the Hive Orientation session once again. I take this as a great opportunity to introduce and bring these new users to the platform, the Hive blockchain, and its goodness.
The orientation started with an introduction from us Onboarders and the facilitators. It always makes me feel happy to share and introduce my Hive journey to others.
As usual, the facilitators Indayclara, Intoybugoy, and sir Ybanezkim delivered a comprehensive discussion of what Hive Blockchain is, the Dos and Don'ts of blogging, and other important technicalities. Watching the participants who were very eager to listen and learn reminds me of my fresh journey in Hive and how enthusiastic I was like them too!
It was a fulfilling experience to witness their curiosity and enthusiasm as they listened to and discovered the potential of Hive blockchain technology and how it can reshape their digital experiences, I think the most important thing to which we can relate our work as teachers is improving our writing skills and the way how we express and organize our ideas.
A Delicious Lunch and Bonding
Following our Hive Orientation, we were treated to a delightful lunch. The host, Naymhapz, along with other generous bloggers who shared their contributions and efforts, had prepared a mouthwatering lunch for all of us. The sight of the grilled meat and Bangus Fish on the table invited us to have our Boodle Fight!
The preparation! I just realized that I didn't have the pics while we were eating!
As we sat down to savor the delicious meal, we continued to bond over shared experiences and newfound friendships. The lunch became not just a feast for our taste buds but also a feast for our souls, as it brought us closer together! (Insert our many chikas and kumustahan!)
It was during this time that we spontaneously decided to have our walk and see the beauty of the so-called Little Batanes in our locality. It's time to energize our bodies and freshen our minds and yes have another meaningful conversation while walking along the beautiful view of the Little Batanes.
An Unexpected Journey with Nature
After the enlightening Hive Orientation and satisfying lunch, an unexpected adventure awaited us. I, along with the other Hive bloggers and the facilitators, took a walk in the lap of nature. Little did we know that this impromptu decision would not only refresh our minds and invigorate our bodies but also strengthen the bonds between us.
Our destination was Little Batanes, a place in my hometown known for its breathtaking views of rolling hills and picturesque grasslands. Despite the afternoon sun beating down on us, our spirits remained high, and we pressed on, eagerly anticipating the natural beauty that awaited us.
We all had a good laugh because our Hive friends from Caduawan (the location of Little Batanes) had claimed that it would only take us 5 to 10 minutes to get to Little Batanes. However, in reality, it took us six times longer than the 5 minutes they had suggested. Haha! But anyway, we enjoyed it more than we expected.
When we reached the foot of the hill, we stayed and relaxed on the Nipa Hut. Thanks to the locals who let us stay in the hut for free. And guess what, I fell asleep! The whole place was just so quiet and peaceful.
I just had the Power Nap I needed!
A perfect blend of learning, bonding, and enjoying the great outdoors!
The day proved to be both productive and enriching. I had the satisfaction of sharing and nurturing the growth of new users within the Hive community. Witnessing their excitement and eagerness as they participated in the orientation was a rewarding experience in itself.
Our spontaneous walk with nature, however, added an extra layer of enjoyment to the day. It was a reminder that even in the advancement of the digital age, there's immense value in stepping outside, connecting with nature, and bonding with like-minded individuals.
It was a fulfilling weekend that left me with a sense of accomplishment and a renewed appreciation for the power of both the Hive blockchain and natural worlds.
How about you? Have you had a fulfilling and enriching weekend?😊
