Greetings friends! Have a wonderful weekend everyone. When I say that the best country I have visited is Cuba I am short of words to describe the special feeling that the island gives me. I am a Venezuelan in love with this Caribbean country.

As a child I visited Colombia several times with my family. Those were the times when buying clothes and food on the other side of the border was much cheaper, so we went once by bus and a year later we went in our family car. I didn't leave Venezuela again until I turned 24, got on a plane and arrived in Havana where my boyfriend, now my husband, met me.

Each of the streets we traveled in this island is full of stories and people who want to greet you.

It's been more than a year since I visited Cuba, but my husband is visiting family these days and every time he can he sends me a picture to remember those beautiful places we traveled together.

These pictures I am sharing today are from a walk my husband and I took on a video call last week through the streets of the beautiful city of Camagüey. It is the province where my daughter was born so this city is very special to me.

He sent me some pictures of each of those places, the first cafe I visited when I arrived in Camagüey, the first store I bought chocolate and ice cream, the bookstore, the church and many other emblematic places of the Camagüeyans.

The new thing about the city since I came here is the name in cement letters that adorn the entrance in the middle of the city's redoma.

I think that falling in love with a distant land and that it gets into your heart to get to miss it as much as your own country is something very special. Cuba, its people, its culture, its food and its natural beauties are the best country I have ever visited and I carry it in my heart.
