Kon'nichiwa, Hivers! My Bantayan Island adventure is not yet over! Well, it's our honeymoon technically but with a twist with the Family. Though it was fun.
What did you feel when you traveled for the very first time? Anxious, nervous, excited, or maybe just pure bliss?

Well, if the first day of our trip was pure happiness and bliss, the second day honestly made me feel nervous and anxious. Part of our itinerary that day was to really swim in the ocean and for all of you to know, I can’t swim, well a little but not good. As much as I love the ocean and the spectacular view that goes along with it, I still am sometimes nervous whenever I travel by sea or other adventures that you can only do on oceans like island hopping—the thing I dreaded most. That day, island hopping was one of the biggest highlights of our tour. I was beyond nervous but part of me was looking forward to it because I am going to overcome my fear once again. When we woke up the next morning though, the weather was very cloudy and the ocean was not so calm as the other day. With that, we were told by our tour guide that we won’t be able to do the island hopping to one of the most famous islands there in Bantayan called “Virgin Island.” It’s the tourist spot that almost every Bantayan resident boasts about to other people and almost all tourists always dream of going there when they first set foot on the place.
Luckily, maybe I have never mentioned this, but it's my second time visiting the beauty of Bantayan Island. And in line with the perfect weather, I was able to go to the Virgin Islands last 2018. But I bet there were a lot of changes and I am pretty sure it is beyond imagination the beauty of it now.

Sadly during this time of visit, we couldn't go there because of the weather and so we decided to go to another tourist attraction there in Bantayan Island—Ogtong Cave Beach Club and Resort.
Ogtong Resort also has a swimming pool and of course the pristine sea on the left side of the place. The place had a very romantic feeling and ambiance which made it perfect for couples and other people to just breathe and relax in the place. We took a lot of pictures of the place and enjoyed every bit of the experience. For the entrance fee of 250 pesos, you get to swim in the outdoor pool and also enjoy the Ogtong Cave with its glistening cold waters.

The place was situated above the oceanside and from the place, you can see the other beautiful islands close to Bantayan. The view was indeed breathtaking. There was also a swing and other entertainment activities in the place so that everyone could enjoy, relax and have fun with their group. But, perhaps the highlight of the place will always be the Cave with the pristine cold waters it holds. Ogtong Cave was one of the best places we visited in Bantayan because it had a really relaxing and comfortable ambiance to it. So, make sure to include that on your itinerary when you finally get to visit Bantayan!

It was one of the few beaches on the place that had a sandbar which can be seen sometimes and sometimes cannot be seen because of the high tide.
The beach was perfect for everyone because it was very close to our place and it was everything you could ask for in a beach: undoubtedly captivating features like the white sand beach, turquoise waters, and the amazing sandbar.

This was also the reason why a lot of broken-hearted people want to visit Bantayan because it was depicted in the movie that the broken-hearted girls found solace and healing on the beautiful island.
It’s the place of healing, happiness, and relaxation. What’s more? There is no entrance fee for the beach which means you get to enjoy it without paying anything. The place is perfect for taking your bikini pictures because of the very beautiful background that Kota Beach emits.

We went to two amazing places for our second day in Bantayan and also our last day on the island. It was a short but very memorable journey for me and my whole family. It was time to say goodbye to Bantayan.
It was that kind of experience that anyone would want to relive every moment of the journey. Traveling to a good place becomes so much better when you are accompanied by warm and happy people. They are small bundles of joy that make you laugh, sad, angry, and happy again and again and again. So I highly suggest that when you travel, make sure to bring someone special: a person/people that can make you happy because you’ll get to enjoy everything more. But, you can also travel alone and maybe you’ll finally find your special someone on the beautiful Bantayan Island.
JUST LIKE HOW I FOUND MINE.😍😍😍
