It surely is and I'm glad for it because I'm not at work and that's a good thing.
This weekend I'm going to a local gin distillery, not the one where the bottle in the image comes from, and I'm really looking forward to it. I like a gin and tonic now and then, or more often than that, and this particular place is one of the better ones.
It's set in a location away from the city upon rolling hills and vistas in every direction and they have tasting areas and a really great place to eat which specializes in pizza and among other things. It's really casual and funky and is a great place to spend time with friends.
We'll do some gin tasting, some gin drinking and probably some more gin tasting and then will eat lunch and hang out talking and listening to the live band, a trio that plays all sorts of music; I've seen them before and am looking forward to doing so again.
That's Sunday, and Saturday I'll be spending time with a special someone over lunch and a walk around the city and its lovely lake and parkland areas. If I'm lucky lunch and the walk will turn into dinner and...
