Working on the weekends is not something I like to do but sometimes have to due to the demands of the job I'm in; this doesn't mean I go to work disgruntled our upset, just that I don't feel I get the break I need when I need it.
When I work during the weekend, I mean Saturday and Sunday, I always accrue days off to take later which is good. I don't get paid overtime money but banking those days off to take whenever I like down the track and getting paid for them is handy because it means I can create long weekend when I need to. I suppose working weekends now and then isn't bad from that perspective, but that doesn't stop me from feeling a little hard done by when I have to go to work on Saturdays and Sundays like this weekend.
Here's some music I've been listening to lately, three really good tracks from some years ago. I think The Police track is the best of them but Metallica always do a good job as well and I don't like everything Eagle-Eye Cherry sings but this one always puts me in a good mood, even when I have to work on the weekend.
