My Best bit

The weekend is almost over, and between one thing and another, I almost didn't make it to this week's weekend engagement.

At first, I thought about writing about option 1, but that would be too easy and leave me in my comfort zone. And it wouldn't be as challenging as option 4. So let's go for it.

Option four: Best part
Tell us the part of your body, or someone else's, that you consider the best bit. Describe it and tell us why you find it to be the best part. Feel free to be very descriptive and include photos if you feel inclined. You can also do a fictional story here if you wish.

I'm not going to talk about what I like most about other people, but I will say that eyes are the first thing I see in others. They are the reflection of the soul. And follow by the hands. I love hands. I think they also say a lot about us. The touch of them. A firm handshake. It doesn't give me a good impression when someone gives you a limp handshake.

But to cut to the chase, I think one of the best bits of my body are my feet. Maybe if you ask anyone else, they will say something else. But I've always liked my feet.

I like to show them off. I like to take care of them. I like to walk barefoot, especially on the sand, and feel the seawater on my feet. I like to pamper them. I love having my feet massaged.

They are one of the parts of the body that we demand the most from every day. They support the weight of the rest of the body. They are full of nerve endings, that's why they are so sensitive. A curiosity I read some time ago, is that supposedly we feel more ticklish on the right foot than on the left. I don't know if this is true because I get too much tickling on both feet.

I know many people who don't like their feet and would say that it is the part of their body they like the least. For other people feet are fetishes and they have what is known as Podophilia. I don't consider myself in this group either, I just like mine.

Maybe I should start to celebrate them every August, 17th. As a curiosity I found out is the day of the love for feet.
