Although this weekend was not great for me because of the typhoon that hit us last night, leaving a tremendous amount of damage and casualties. But it wouldn’t stop me from writing for this week’s weekend-engagement concept, which I had always looked forward to, thanks to sir @galenkp in his Weekend Experiences community. There is so much to read and enjoy in each entry of the community members. Thus, the concept this week has only two choices.

The two concepts are quite similar to each other since they both require you to travel and dream of your awesome experience. For this week, I would choose the second option on the list, which is the Forwards or Backwards Weekend, and it has the following question that states,
The existence of time travel was worldly debated by scientists and technologists which can surpass the boundaries of time and space. Several theories were laid on the big white space through the projector as I listened at the middle back of the crowd. The crowd was busy entering data into their laptops, making sure important details were recorded, and some curious people were asking numerous incomprehensible questions that made my brow furrow. I didn’t get why they asked otherworldly questions when even the scientists themselves were not sure of the answers. I deeply sighed as I scratched my forehead.

After a two-hour stretch of pure attending the World’s Research and Tech Innovation Plan, I decided to go home to my apartment. I was lying on my bed, reaching the ceiling with my right hand, thinking, "How beautiful the celestial lives are." A sudden phone call rings and vibrates on my soft white pillow. I didn’t expect any calls today, as I remembered since I finished all of my appointments a while ago. "Who’s on the line?" I asked. "Hi, this is Professor Abby Watts from the WRTIP. I’ve received information that you are willing to be the test subject for the upcoming time travel experiment. Are you still up for it? "
I was speechless. I cannot believe that my submission a month ago was approved and selected amongst the thousands who wanted to become the test subject. The amount of money they offered didn’t bother me. All I wanted was the once-in-a-lifetime experience of a time machine. "Oh yes, you don’t have to worry about it, Professor Abby. I would love to participate." " Right, the response that I’d like to hear. The whole details will be sent to you after a while to stand by," she said and ended the phone call. My whole body was shaking due to my overpowering anticipation, jumping and rolling on my bed, and giggling.
The whole details were sent later that night. I reviewed the agreement and signed it afterward. After a few days, the scheduled day of becoming a test subject arrived. I was walking through the white, glowing tiles of the floor when I noticed the poker faces of the professors I passed by. As I reached room 401-A, a purplish, golden light blinded my eyes for a moment, then I saw the six magnetic-like tubes with several strings attached at the bottom part. "Are you all ready?" asked the head researcher. We changed clothes provided by them, entered the tube simultaneously, and the signal that the operation would start had been downed.

A huge electric shock covered my body, pulling my spirit and sipping every ounce of my energy. It was for a brief moment; I woke up in the car-like construction made of glass, and it wasn’t touching the ground. The pack of cars was traveling at the speed of light, making it hard to follow with the naked eye. The elevation of buildings was no longer attached to the ground. It was like there was a strong magnet repelling the ground and the bottom of the building. That’s why it was elevating. The sky was filled with skylines, a gigantic 5-D animation projection lighted the particular place, and as I continued my travel, I could not believe that a floating human-made island was possible.
When I got out of the car, a tremendous sound echoed and vibrated in my ears, and it was ear-splitting. He said, "Hey, you better use your anti-supersonic sound plug, or else you will live your life as a deaf person." A guy wearing a transparent-like shirt that shows how muscular he is, but physically he is slim. Oh, a body-clothes alternation that changes one’s physique. "I don’t have that sound plug; can you lend me one?" I smiled amiably. "Sure, it seems you are new around here. Wait, you are who, again?" "I’m Denn, but don’t be surprised. I’m from the past." I whispered into his left ear.

He didn't understand what I said because I looked really unbelievable. All things are possible in this generation since the robotic age and technological innovation has become really high. As a computer science student, I got the chance to peak at the world’s current technology and computer advancements that would help me develop an advanced program that didn’t exist in my current generation. The guy toured me around the place called "Middle Pacific" or the Center of all Advanced Technology. It was in the middle of the Pacific Ocean you couldn’t believe that it was once the largest ocean in the world.
I spent my 24 hours roaming around, listing down every possible technology I could copy, and the final glimpse I had was when a spaceship came down. I was not sure whether it was a human or an alien inside. My skin began to peel off until my existence ceased to exist in the 1000-year accelerative time. I woke up in the same tube I was sent off in. There were four scientists who welcomed me. "Welcome, Sir Denn! Finally, you came back after 24 years," she said as she offered her hands. "24 years, what?! Have I been away for 24 years?"
