And when I can reach and escape
and become in a terrible place
(A kadar sam stići i uteći i na strašnom mestu postojati)
Serbian folk song: Starina Novak and Prince Bogosav
For a long time now, I've been thinking about how some young people are incompetent, how they don't know how to find their way in nature, how they don't know how to do anything with their hands, how in the presence of danger they dig themselves in place and can't move or when they need to rush someone or somewhere, they don't have the speed, strength or courage to do so...
And these are the ones who consider themselves men when they grow up, i.e., as galenkp would divide us, those with balls and dick 😅.
I read one of his posts, where he shared pictures of food preparation on steel plates in some remote area of nature, when he wrote that the children were like little explorers, all day in the wilderness.
And then I see in my neighborhood these little bandits riding their bikes down a not-so-small hill, brave and fearless, resourceful and capable, while the younger ones make a natural shelter from fallen branches and play in that built shelter.
Well, such a situation (when children are without mobile phones, outside in nature, far from their gaming computers) restores faith that something will change.
That children will become resourceful, dexterous and that they will know how to use their hands for something other than scrolling on phone and tablet screens or typing on keyboards.
I am just such a man, dexterous and resourceful, ready to get anywhere and stay there for a long time, if necessary.
I know how to use my hands, various tools, to make and repair all kinds of things around the house (my own or someone else's).
And I think that is one of the characteristics that defines me as a man.
However, yesterday, while I was an escort to the doctor's visit, I confirmed what I have known for a long time. It is not only physical fitness, ability, knowledge and strength that make a man.
Some people have balls and a dick for nothing, when in their soul and in their behavior towards those who do not have the same, they are pussies.
The woman who needed medical intervention was greeted by the doctor as if it was her fault that she was not well, with a raised tone, he had a negative effect on her already elevated blood pressure, he was so rude and unpleasant that he calmed down and quieted down only the moment I entered the office.
So, he is allowed to go to a woman, but he retreats in front of another man?
So why are you, a so-called man, so unpleasant to a person of the fairer sex?
Why do you insult, belittle, why are you rude?
Because, apart from the one between your legs, you have nothing else that would make you a real man.
Like all those who are able to raise their hand to someone weaker than themselves (sometimes even to their wife)...
I'm not like that.
In addition to resourcefulness, which I mentioned as a characteristic that defines me as a man, and respect for those weaker than myself, a protective attitude and a willingness to help, are some other qualities that separate me from those who, although they are, are not.
