I really find this weekend topics quite interesting and I will like to appreciate the effort of @galenkp the #weekend-engagement and #theweekend for putting this up for people to say things they love or what they are facing in their country. It's awesome and I appreciate it for giving us the privilege to do so.
I am from Nigeria and I really have a lot I want to say about what I love about my country Nigeria. Nigeria has the population of over 200 million Nigerians and we are blessed with beautiful people from different tribes and 250 ethnic groups. The country major tribe is Hausa, Igbo and yoruba. The Hausa tribe happens to be a tribe from the Northern part of the country, then the Igbo tribe from the Eastern part while the Yoruba tribe is from Western part of Nigeria.
The country is blessed with so many local dishes from different tribes that will always want you to come ask for more, with local dishes like Amala and Ewedu, pounded yam and Egusi, Eba and vegetables, and so many local and delicious meals that you don't need to miss out if eventually you have a vacation here.

In Nigeria, Beef is the most common meat been consumed where we have more of them in the northern part trained by Fulanis. The poultry farm also is another way which produces chickens, which are also form of food because they provide eggs which those chickens lay and can be eaten as a form of food as well.
Crop farming in Nigeria, is another important way of generating more food which is been done in the farm by farmers. Most people engaged mostly on crop farming or practice subsistence farming which will enable them not lack food and also they produce enough to cater for the family.
I love the fact that Nigeria is blessed with so many resources, Nigeria is huge in the terms natural resources. The Nigerian economy no doubt highly depends on these natural resources, that is why it is been said that is a huge part of many humans in their everyday lives, especially those who work in the industrial companies.
These natural resources includes: bitumen, coal, oil and gas, gold, lead and zinc and so on. The country is really blessed with this and will just hope for a better Nigeria since all this is available in our country as we engage them in trading and export.
The challenges faced in the country
This is the very part I want to pour out my feelings because Nigerians now don't sleep with their two eyes closed anymore with all what is going on in the country at the moment.
The ban of crypto in Nigeria
It is quite interesting to know that crypto currency is not allowed in Nigeria with the idea of the government saying that it has effect in devaluing the naira and also is another means of making illegal money online then using crypto as an excuse to backup the illegal act.
When cryptocurrency came in existence in Nigeria, Nigerians started engaging and joining the crypto blockchain due to how they have come across and understand how it works and also will be a means for them to make legit money since there's no work or jobs for Nigerians to do.
With the fact that even the little jobs available is not up to $100 for the poor masses to manage which is really a big issue here and the so call government are not looking into it.
It baffles me when young Nigerians are been beaten and brutalized for engaging oneself into crypto which is not suppose to be so and the Nigerian government banned it with the ideology that cryptocurrency was devauling the Naira.
They don't care the blockchain that is producing you the legit money all they believe is that it is illegal and is a way of stealing money illegally and we should not engage in it or will be arrested.
We the youth are really facing a lot concerning this issue because we one way or the other can't escape the arrest of this people because they believe we are criminals especially when your using a big phone, dress properly with nice wristwatches, shoes, clothes and the likes and it's so painful when they arrest you for no reason, with the idea that your a criminal damn! what a country.
The unstable security issues at the moment
We now live in fear because we don't know what will happen in the next minutes with the issue of kidnapping, bandit, Boko Haram all terrorizing the country at the moment.
Now travelling by road is a big issue in the country at the moment especially in the northern part of Nigeria with states like kaduna, kastina, Zaria and some others state too are going through this fears with the aspect of bandit kidnapping innocent Nigerians which is not suppose to be so.
This country really need change but this is not the change we were asking for.
Lack of job opportunities
We have millions of Nigerians graduating from school every year and majority are found on the street jobless due to lack of unemployment and even the ones that luckily gets a job, the minimum wages is nothing to write about, which can't even sustain all your needs not to talk of adding family issues to it.
