Back when I was a teenage, I was a big fan of EDM. One of my favorite producers/djs was Skrillex. It was between 2010-2012 when I most followed his music and a taste for upbeat, rhythmic music was born. Time has proved he was not only a trendy artist. Until today, he keeps on inspiring and moving fans all around the world with a distinctive style I think no other EDM producer has.
From his 4th EP, I have always liked to listen to Bangarang. This song is my free ticket to happiness. All of a sudden, I turn to be motivated for doing everything I couldn't stand to do some minutes ago. Maybe it's a bit imprecise, but I find this track acting like an energy drink. You enter into a rush where life is actually possible to live at its best. Even my dad considers this track being uplifting, especially when it comes to arrive on time to work😁

Ok, next we have the depressing part. Have you ever experienced sadness when you do not actually feel like that? Many years ago I was also into metalcore and stuff, (yeah, I've always had an eclectic ear) and used to listen to bands like Asking Alexandria. If this band would have been born this decade, it would be called Asking Alexa(?
Bad jokes aside, Reckless and Relentless was an album which had a real impact on my life. Since I was going through some tough personal times, listening to it made me feel kind of identified and understood. So, it was on repeat for many weeks.
Among all tracklist, I was down to Someone, somewhere. But I never got why I was especially attached to this song. It was just many years later that I really caught the reason. Life has strange ways to warn you about people and events, and I think that unusual bond just made sense when my grandma passed away. She always supported me on whatever thing I was up to, so there's no way I can avoid thinking:
