Hello, Hivers!
Today's dates' turn. Take a seat and enjoy part of my romantic life haha.
In my case, I've had both good and bad dates. I've thought I've met the most wonderful person, but I've also wondered why on Earth I decided to leave my house to meet a stranger.

I'm going to start with a date that went wrong. It was a rather nice evening, and as we had arranged, we were to meet at a bar-restaurant for a drink, and maybe a light meal. It was something like an appetizer date. I had good expectations, but everything went to hell the moment I saw her. She wasn't exactly who I saw in pictures. At that point I thought that filters can be negative, too.
Anyway, we started chatting calmly and getting to know each other, while having a nice drink. As it is normal for me, I started to make certain jokes to break the ice. But I soon noticed that she was not one of those girls who laughed a lot. Just quite like this 🗿.
Then, I also noticed that, out of nowhere, one of her eyes was shaking really weird. This intimidated me a bit (I thought I was talking to an AI). I kept chatting and she seemed to follow it, but then she just kept looking at her cell phone.
To make matters worse, when the waiter was bringing the fries with cheddar and bacon, he tripped, and a good portion fell on the girl's blouse. As best we could, the waiter and I helped her, but her face already looked like red as lava.
Naturally, things got worse afterwards and it was quieter than at a wake. A truly uncomfortable situation that resulted in a dry and definitive farewell.

On another occasion, it wasn't all that bad. It was about a girl with whom I had messaged for short time, but I think we made such a good match that she was motivated enough to invite me to a music festival.
I had never actually been to one before, let alone for a first date. So far, I think it's been one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life. From the beginning, I could tell that the chemistry between us was like when chatting. Her harmonious and fun personality gave me a lot of confidence, and there was no choice but to dance to every song they played that night.
It was also fun because I talked to friends of her who were present at the event, which, in my way of thinking, gave oxygen for when either of us got tired. The whole night went by between chats, laughter and dancing, until finally love found us and we had a big, long kiss. One of those that make you lose your mind.
No doubt we met other times, but she was a foreigner and had to return to her hometown.
I felt again like when you live an unbridled youthful love. Now it is just a pleasant memory.
