I made that pottery in the image when I was five years old - my dad helped me - and I was so proud of what I'd created. That was forty six years ago and my dad, an accomplished artist, is gone now, last year...But I have this pottery still and it's a treasured item I would fight to keep and, to me, it seems imbued with the moment in which it was created - a moment with my father.

I once wrote:

"It's almost like the clay has absorbed the essence of the moment in which it was crafted, my life at that exact time, and locked it within the clay through the heat of the kiln, forever capturing that moment within its form."

Create an artwork using pencils, paints, digital, charcoal, pen and ink or any other media of your choice, take a photo and post about it - Tell us why you created it, what inspired you or what story does your artwork tell. You can also use one of your existing pieces.

Using me, another hive user you know or yourself in a nature-setting as your subject: Create an artwork using pencils, paints, digital, charcoal, pen and ink or any other media of your choice, take a photo and post about it - Tell us about the various elements of your artwork and what inspired them. It doesn't have to look like me or the other person exactly ok? Just make it up as you go - There's no wrong way to do it.

Post a single photo, that means only one, from your phone camera and tell us about it: Where, what, when, why and also why you selected that particular photo to post about - What appeals to you about it and why you shared it.

🔹Option four🔹

Show and tell us about something creative you personally do and share a photo of it. It might be artwork, cooking, music knitting, candle-making Lego-building or even writing; it doesn't matter what it is as long as it's creative and something you personally do. Tell us what's involved, why you do it, how long it takes and so on. Showcase your creativity.

🔹Option five🔹

Write a fictional or creative story using the prompt phrase: My day with nature. Use a single photo to punctuate and enhance your words. The idea is that you're creative so you write literally anything as long as it revolves around the phrase: My day with nature. Please use an inventive and creative title also, not the phrase itself because that would be uncreative of you and defeat the whole purpose of it.

Curation and hive-rewards will happen on quality original content so proof read, use in-focus and interesting pictures and generally take pride in your post. Your posts are a representation and showcase of you - Give people a reason to visit your feed for a look.
