Happy Friday hivers and welcome to a new #weekend-engagement topic post. I've been grinding it out all week and am glad to see the weekend has arrived; It wasn't a bad week, just full on. I hope yours was enjoyable and productive and your weekend is the same!
And now to the topic
On Monday I witnessed an act of great generosity and selflessness which touched me greatly. It was a reminder that amongst all the bad things humans can do to one another there are amazing and uplifting things also. It was also a timely reminder for various reasons and one that stayed with me all week.
When I saw how impactful it was upon the recipient I knew right away what this week's topic needed to be...It's different than the usual topics and I'm not sure how you'll respond...But it is what it is. So on to the topic.
Weekend-engagement topic week 32
All you need to do is tag a hive user in the comments below, one you value and respect, then explain why. From there I'll select several and send them some hive on your behalf.
This is your chance to say thank you, to call them out and tell them why you value them, respect and appreciate them. It may be that they supported you in your early days, that they engage with you with genuine interest or that you like their posts and feel they deserve a little free hive...Be clear about the reason in your comment though; You don't need to be wordy, just get your message across to me so I understand the reasons.
Read that text up there, 👆 don't skim or skip it!
Instead of sending hive to those who comment as I would usually do I will send it to some of those users nominated; This will happen on Monday so you have all weekend to get your comment placed below. You can nominate yourself or alt-account if you like...But that probably wouldn't look so good.
I'm not sure how many of you folks will engage with this weeks topic but, of course, I hope many of you do. I see a lot of chatter about hivers being so grateful for others or about how much value one finds in the other...Well, here's an opportunity to show them how you feel, to tell them.
I hope to see your comment below, however if you'd rather not maybe you could support some of those who choose to leave one.
Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all others ― Marcus Tullius Cicero
