I love this community of THE WEEKEND, because I get very distracted by the posts shared by the different users, this relaxes me, amuses me and sometimes I even learn.
And since I mentioned this distraction, which is equivalent to relaxation, let's go for the first of four options to compete in the [WE97] Weekend Blog Posts.
After a hectic day, with a lot of work combined with some personal errands that are never lacking, getting home and taking a nice shower is a matter of gods.
And it doesn't necessarily have to be with hot water, just the fact that water falls on my head, on my body is a delight and I think that also being naked is the secret that strips me of the heaviness of the day.
But if it is the end of the week, that is, the beginning of the weekend, there is nothing like arriving and pouring myself a good drink of scotch and contemplating the view from the height of my home; it is totally relaxing and it is a moment of meditation and at the same time planning for the weekend.
After dedicating a few minutes to the drink and the beautiful view, I start with the preparations for dinner.
Cooking doesn't stress me out, I'm passionate about it and I'm always adding something more to the dish I'm going to make. In other words, I never eat the same thing twice, there is always variation.
When I cook I am not enslaved to a recipe, I do it to my taste, to what I feel at that moment and of course to the ingredients at home.
Cooking really relaxes me and when I do it with love the result is apotheosis no matter if it is a couple of fried eggs.
Another thing I do, which I love because it takes the stress away, is write.
Every day I write something that I can later use to create content for my blog.
On weekends is when I review those writings and it is there where the imagination is activated and the creation begins, thus leading to the release of the pressure of the week, making me feel light, happy and at the same time I am recharging myself with positive energy for the beginning of the next week.
Once a psychologist suggested to me that to get out of anxiety the best thing to do was to do what I liked the most but that this should not cause discomfort to another person.
Since then, I do what I like, I work in what I like and among my passions of writing and cooking is sleeping and walking or running; I can sleep more than eight hours continuously and I can walk more than Forrest Gump; I am happy doing it.
With these letters I wanted to participate in the [WE97] Weekend-Engagement Friday blog prompts by @galenkp.
